Hi. We googled this lovely place and went to see it a few times. It's a beautiful place of nature: to hear all the lovely birds songs, to see many creatures and enjoy. Well-placed benches are great to relax and listen to all these lovely sounds that are coming from everywhere. Our many thanks for the maintenance crew. You people are doing a great job to keep this place beautiful. Please convey our appreciation to them. Read moreWe. February isn't the best time to visit, but we were expecting to catch sight of a handful of early ephemerals. Unfortunately we only found one plant blooming.
There is very little parking (just 4 spaces capped at one hour) and the trash bins along the trails were overflowing badly.
Overall this is an amazing resource and I'd love to try checking it out some other time. The minnows and turtles in the wetland pond were at least interesting even if the plant life was a little...

However, once we finally found the entrance to the trail, it was gated off and we could not access it. The information I read online stated the park was open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.
