Game Giant — Local services in Wilmington

I was just offered $15 for my stack of Black Label PlayStation games in EXCELLENT condition. I am left with the impression that they only purchase from people whom they may take advantage of; therefore, not only will I never try to sell to them again, but they just lost my business as a purchaser as well.

The guy seriously said wait a minute, while he went to get a calculator for this 😂

Edit* Now that I've taken the time to read a couple of other reviews, I feel very confident in being very clear with the previous statement I just made. These people only make purchases from drug addicts, and people who are in a very bad position in life. No reasonable man would ever subject himself to being taken advantage of in this way. It's pathetic, and I must agree, something about this place feels even slimier than a pawn shop.

Friendly staff here that quickly saw to my needs. There's a great selection of retro games and consoles here, so if you're looking for N64 Mario Tennis or something, I'd definitely start here and fall back on Amazon if they don't have it. Even two day shipping is interminably longer than a quick trip to the store.

That being said, they do have newer gen games and hardware here too, so don't write them off as just a retro store. I just see that aspect as a plus.

The gentleman who assisted me when I last visited was honest and flexible with me about the used games I brought to sell. None of that "$.06 in cash or $3.50 store credit," BS you get at GameStop.

Game Giant is a place where I feel like I took a step back into the 90s and entered the video rental place. Only this time, I can buy all of the games! The staff is friendly and really helpful. The atmosphere is bit dated but perfect for what it is. I'm an old school gamer and I expect this to be where I can buy old school games, and talk about old school stuff, Period. And I love it! From Sega fans, to Nintendo fanboys, and even having the modern consoles, Game Giant has you covered. The prices are fair, and are willing to negotiate if there's wiggle room.
