Gamersroll — Attraction in Wilmington

I was looking to restart my 40k painting plan, but my old paints had dried up. In my search for a good set I came across the army painter mega paint set online. Amazon had it discounted from $125 to $94. I found this website, Gamersroll, who had it listed for $75.99. Not only this, but they had it discounted even more if you bought their paint bundle deal. I did some review searching online since this was a pretty big discount and not a single one of my friends who buy paints had heard of this website before and the only reviews I could find were the three or four reviews here on google. A couple of the reviews said they received their packages, but only after waiting long periods of time and having to contact their support multiple times. I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a go anyways.

The bundle I bought included the army painter mega set (50 paints), army painter quickshade set (11 shades), a bottle of brush on primer, and a DnD branded brush set. This bundle with shipping cost me $104. I placed the order on Feb 19th and it said allow 5 to 6 business days to process. I chose flat rate shipping. I received shipping notification on the 25th and received the package at my house on March 1st. Everything was packaged well and came new in box.

EDIT I forgot to add. The website currently advertises a free t-shirt on orders over $100. I'm not sure if that is before or after shipping costs are factored in, but I had also used a 5% discount coupon code. I'm assuming if you have a coupon code its either use that or receive the t-shirt. Just something to keep in mind when placing your orders.

Overall, I had a positive experience with this website and with their current prices on other products I plan on doing business with them again...

Terrible Experience. I just Purchased 2 expensive boardgames from them and BOTH had missing components. I've purchased hundreds of games and only once had a new game that had a missing piece. BOTH games had the premium components missing. I have pictures. Amsterdam City Collection 2: Cards should all have explanatory texts. All sets of Cards that were included were from the base version "only icons". Marrakesh City Collection 4: This version comes with game trayz and wooden dates, wooden water, and wooden gates. Trayz were included but NONE of the upgraded wooden components were in the box. The plastic around the box was not snug to the game (it was very loose) which was an indication that someone opened it and took out all of the wooden upgraded components on their end. I communicated all of this to Gamersroll customer service. They will not take the games back and they will not help in contacting Queen Games to resolve the issue. They also claim that I am the only customer with this issue on either game and they sell a lot of these. Literally the worse experience I have ever had with any shop when purchasing board games. I should have stuck with my local game board place where I see the owners come into the store on a regular basis. It would have been a more $ but a lot less stressful. Spent over $150 with them and they could care less. I have emailed Queen Games but their website says they are no longer selling in the US. Even EBay can make sure that board games that are listed for sale are accurate and that components aren’t missing and/or broken. EBay with refund you if something it wrong....

Been waiting ten days since I ordered, nothing has even shipped yet... called customer service twice, they keep pushing the date back and saying they are sorry... I don't think I'd order from this place again, we'll see when my stuff arrives I guess (if it arrives that is).

EDIT: The quick response to this review and expedited shipping is the opposite of the way I was treated by their customer service over the phone, so I'm really glad to see they are making an effort to make this right (beyond an insincere apology), and actually doing something about it... I have modified my stars and will update it again once my order arrives. Thanks Gamersroll!

EDIT 2: Got my order, everything is there... took a long time to arrive, the prices are very nice. Honestly the free t-shirt is insanely high quality... I know they had some issues with things being in stock, so I could see ordering again and seeing how it goes. If a second order had these same issues, I wouldn't order a third time. I'm petty as hell with online ordering because I do an incredible amount of it so i'm used to exceptional service and fast interactions.
