Rome Jewelers — Attraction in Wilmington

The staff is super friendly and always welcoming. I've bought a few pairs of earrings and a bracelet from them and they've all held up beautifully. Recently my husband and I decided to do some shopping to upgrade our wedding rings, which admittedly, I took longer to decide than he did. He found his ring in 5 minutes flat, they got his size and took it back behind the counter while I looked. Bless the sweet staff at Rome Jewelers, because I must have asked them to pull at least 10 different rings for me to look at. I felt so bad that I kept asking, so I was constantly apologizing, but they were so patient and understanding. Eventually I did find the perfect ring and we're currently waiting on them to be resized. Again, the staff are wonderful and the selection is plentiful. They're also super sweet to my 10 month old infant whenever we come in. Of course he gets a little fussy sometimes, yet they seem so unbothered by it....

Will not honor this Jewelry store again. I contacted them ahead of time to make sure they would be interested in purchasing some jewelry I had for sale. Gave them a full description of the pieces and they said YES, come on in. I went in and they said they needed to keep the ring for a few days until their professional jeweler could look at it. However, they weren't interested in the other piece but, offered me a miniscule amount which I wouldn't accept. Finally 4 days later they told me to come back in to pick up my ring and said they weren't interested - they said they had way too many pieces similar to what I was selling. I enjoy going into Rome Jewelers. I love their estate jewelry. They are always happy to help(even if I don't purchase). I have always been helped quickly and professionally. They always tell me how much something will cost. If there could be additional charges I am always told upfront and told how much that might be. I have gotten rings sized and was told to go half size smaller then what I thought and he was right. So glad he gave the advice.
