Stopped in for part of our anniversary trip and managed to catch them while they are open. SO glad we did. We bought dirt pudding, pecan bar, oatmeal cupcake and monster cookie cheesecake. All items we rate 5 stars! The cheesecake was fluffy and not super dense as with many other cheesecakes and the crust was cookie dough. Amazing! The cupcake tasted just like the oatmeal cream pies from our childhood. Not too sweet and the frosting was just right in sweetness and texture. Pecan bar, split into 2 or 4, they are great but sweet too. The crust to filling ratio was perfect. Finally the dirt pudding had the right mixture of cookie and chocolate mixture to pudding and 2 gummy worms. I ordered a bridal shower cake at the beginning of September 2021 and on 9-18-21, I picked it up and took it to my granddaughter’s bridal shower. I ordered Half white and half chocolate cake. The cake was terrible; it tasted extremely dry and stale. Everyone at the shower could not believe how bad the cake tasted; needless to say, it went in the trash can. The whole cake. That’s like throwing $60.00 away because that’s what I paid for it. I got choked on it because it was so dry. Laney Cakes is more expensive than your local grocery store bakery, but worth every penny. We ordered a cake for our daughter and son-in-law's open house for local friends and family, to celebrate their out of town marriage. Laney listened to what we wanted, and the cake was exactly what we had in mind. On top of that, the cake was delicious, there were so many positive comments as to "how good...
