We visited for the first time on a Friday afternoon. It took a good 5 minutes or more to be noticed at the desk and they were not busy at all. The host was friendly, though. We ordered the cheese curds for an appetizer. They are cubes, not curds, but very good with the ranch for dipping. Salads came out around the same time, and were good but a little warm. Liked that the veggies were diced in small pieces, but the salad would have been much better cold. I ordered the pork chop and my husband had the Alfredo with chicken. My pork chop was tough to cut through and I knew before taking a bite that it wasn’t hot. Sure enough, lukewarm. The flavor was delicious in the chop and the sauce, but I’m not eating a $24 pork chop lukewarm. The waitress had the cook make another one. Brought it out, and I took a bite right in front of her…ICE COLD. I asked the waitress to touch it to verify, and she couldn’t believe how cold it was. No reason for that…they need to be butterflied. She offered another meal, but at that point, my husband was done eating, I wasn’t going to sit there and wait on another meal. So it was credited. Fine. My husband really liked his Alfredo, and it was a huge serving. He also enjoyed the garlic bread served with it. Overall, taking everything into account, we had a so-so experience. Really enjoyed the uniqueness of the restaurant/hotel, the atmosphere, and the quiet since we were there during a slow time of the day. Our waitress was very nice. If only the salad was cold and the pork chop was not, it would have been better!

To be clear, this review is for the reataurant, and not the hotel.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday with plans for dinner and a concert across the street at the Murphy theater.

In summary, I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

We booked reservations for our group at 530 knowing that we would probably need ample time for a 730 concert.

We arrived to the restaurant about 20 minutes early. We were told they wouldn't try to seat us until 530 even though our whole party was present. Not a huge deal, but a beginning indicator.

At 530 we were sat. We waited for about 15 minutes before the wait staff came to our table and another 20 minutes before we started to receive our drinks. I say started, because only half of the table received drinks, and the remainder of the drinks trickled out minutes apart. Our drink order wasn't extravagant, mostly water or soda, with a couple ordering bottled beer and one mixed drink.

By time we got our drinks, we order appetizers. They arrived about 20 minutes later. Being that it was already about 620, we informed our waitstaff that we had a show and that we would like to place our order so we're not late. We got an eye roll from the waitstaff in reply.

After ordering our food, our appetizers were not cleared, and our drinks weren't refilled. When we flagged down the wait staff for refills, they took our glasses, stated they didn't have enough, and we waited another 10 minutes for refills to trickle out.

Our main course finally started to come out about 650, a full 40 minutes later, but not all of it. Much like the drinks, half of the table was served, with the others patiently waiting. 5 minutes later another plate, 5 minutes later another plate. The final plate didn't arrive until 710.

We all had to scarf down our food to try and make our concert time, and then struggled to get waitstaff so we could pay.

Beyond the slow service, the food was bland, and a salad that was ordered extra was completely forgotten.

After we left for the concert, we came across two other people who also mentioned the slow service.

I keep trying to find a redeeming factor, but I simply cannot come up with one. I would never recommend this place to...

Well my first trip to the general Denver was a very good meal with great service I posted I would definitely be back. Well September 7th 2024 my wife and I returned for a nice evening out. I truly regret choosing to dying their. The waitress what's covering way too many tables by herself with no help so service was not good but again not her fault she was doing way too much. The restaurant was not busy you took over an hour to get my steak dinner both my wife and I ordered steaks they were supposed to be medium they came out medium rare. They were sent back they were returned still undercooked the waitress went to a manager took something off of the price, never saw the manager the food was not that edible that raw eat what I could paid the bill left. Very disappointed I try to support local restaurants local businesses when you have a bad experience and the manager won't even take the time to show up to your table that's bad business sending your steak back is bad enough when it's returned and it's still not right took over an hour to get my food truck even longer to get it back a second time I spent 90 minutes in a restaurant sitting at my table unless still hungry because I wasn't able to eat much of the food very disappointing I can't guarantee I would return definitely not the same experience I had a couple months ago couple months ago it was a great meal, this evening the meal was unedible disgusting very very disappointed in my local restaurant I'll go somewhere else...
