Was on a tour with a bus load of adventurous people from Peoria, Illinois and surrounding areas. First time here for me at least. Greeted with free cookies and iced tea. Very friendly and informative guide and her daughter. The building is right on the river and has flooded in the past, but the river has to be at historic highs. Think there is 26 acres here and the tour is self guided, but the guide goes over everything prior to going through the house. Lots of history and pictures, etc. to gaze upon and ask more questions. Hohe Bäume spenden rund um die Uhr Schatten; es gibt auch schöne Flächen in der Sonne. Unterhalb gibt es einen Bootsanleger.
