Cozy Cottage — Local services in Windsor Township

Went here super excited to visit for widows weekend! However my girls and I were quickly disappointed. 1st lots of items were not priced. We all picked out rings from a dish when we went to another dish it also had rings matching that of the rings in the first dish it was marked 8.95 we all thought “great” and each picked up 3- there were 5 of us. We each grabbed other items as well one being alcohol infused gummies (it’s Girls weekend we were gonna have some fun)! First we quickly find out when our first friend checked out the rings were 19.95! Quickly being told “oh we have some that are 8.95 but it’s not those” I asked “how anyone would know?” (none have tags) she replied “they just do and it’s not those!” Did not offer to honor the price on the only one that is marked…first bad taste but whatever fine. Then we’re getting ready to enjoy our gummies but quickly realized 3 of the 6 are hard and expired. So we take them back. She tells us to find 3 that aren’t so we go back to the front of the store to the 3 big hurricane style candle holders they are in and start digging to find every single one was expired 🫣😬 we noticed boxes of them you could buy we asked if we could open one she offered to open 2 “ornaments” that had 2 each and give us the 3 owed. Okay fine whatever. My friend did buy a bracelet and realized she needed one more so she went back 3 hrs later and the expired gummies have still been sitting out for other customers and they were still actively looking at them. Totally horrible business. Needless to say no more items...

Cozy Cottage is a chic store in Kimmswick with nice variety. I have been a few times for gifts for friends. They offer clothing, jewelry, purses and some houseware type items.

Several times I've been they have had sales or specials going on that were very enticing. I purchased a pair of earrings as a gift and they were very good quality.
