GOOD COULD BE WAY BETTER! They have some quality finds-I was there day one, they were still setting up. Regular Goodwill Thrift shoppers know about the color tags, the go local 20% off days and senior discount on Thursday, which is 55 and up! Gave them the benefit that things would be up and running in a few days. 2nd trip was mothers day when I got some vases and pottery items, took them home, washed them, filled them with fresh flowers, beautiful! Third trip was senior day, no discount so left and went to the Healdsburg location, then last night, still not doing the tag color sale, still not taking the GO LOCAL card and honoring the senior discount, not sure why ? I also suggested they make a rack for maternity clothes and jeans and put it by the baby items and also have a GO BACK rack outside the fitting room. Staff are great, however they are still not sure on some of the pricing, I think maybe they need a little more training and marketing experience, it is clean and there are no rest...
Read moreI’ve been shopping at this store for 4 yrs now. Usually once a week or every few weeks. Often I might have a pretty full cart of items that I would buy & recycle to use in my art. And often some good clothing finds as well.
But for the past year or so the prices have steadily increased to just plain ridiculous. These items are most often scratched, chipped or faded yet the price is way out of line. I rarely shop here anymore.
The staff has always been friendly. But just about the time you get to know someone they leave. Seems they constantly have new people but I have never had a bad customer experience here.
I recommend Forgotten Felines (super clean & good prices) & also the Mission (super grungy but excellent prices). They are near each other in Santa Rosa. This past weekend we had a full cart of glassware (all in excellent condition) & other items from the Mission & we spent $63.00. Well worth...
Read moreI don't like to give mediocre reviews and have loved the Goodwill - it was one of my Grandma's favorite places to get deals when I was younger and for most my life. But the prices have gone up tremendously it's like you aren't even shopping at a thrift store. The quality of the products haven't gone up, so why has the prices? Almost all Goodwill throughout Sonoma County have increased prices way too high. You can find stuff in here, just be prepared to pay higher prices than the "old days". I prefer Pick of the Litter (on Piner Road) or Sutter VNA & Hospice Thrift Store (on Cleveland by Trader Joe's) - those places still have good prices you would expect at a thrift store. This Goodwill is nice to have though in Windsor and it's close to Walmart and Home Depot and easy parking out front and...
