Sourdough & Co — Restaurant in Windsor

There is so much to say about this place but let me start with the incredible staff! They handle many difficult customers and questions but always manage to come to a resolution that is civil and composed. While not everyone may enjoy these resolutions it’s important to note that these incredible workers are trying to find the best outcome. Next the location, very convenient parking and easy to find. They are located by Walmart and in the old Game Stop store. Lastly the food itself, the food is delicious and always cooked and made perfect. Of course everyone has their own personal taste and that’s fine but just because you don’t like one thing don’t knock the whole place down! If I ever don’t get something on my sandwich or wish to change something last minute again the amazing staff helps to accommodate me in any way. I just witnessed a major "karen" experience and I have to say the staff handled it extremely well. There was an older woman in here who was very rude to the staff and yelled at one of the staff who is clearly a minor. The minor was being very calm and collected and tried to explain calmly to the woman that she had to actually pay for the chips she was trying to hide. The woman was clearly trying to start a fight and the staff calmly helped her with her order and got the food to them quickly, and still wished her a lovely day when she left. Terrible. We have tried going here on Sundays for lunch. The first couple of times they were busy and it took a while to get our sandwiches, so we waited (no big deal). The last 2 Sundays we have gone it has still taken 20-30 minutes to get our food there are 4-5 people working but only one person making sandwiches. Todays sandwich was the last straw. I get the Caprese sandwich. The cheese looked like it was old and stale, the sandwich was not heated up. I took a bite, but ended up taking the sandwich back, I am not interested in getting sick from old cheese that has been sitting around. We did get a refund, but we will not...
