Horrible experience. We went for lunch, only to observe the "manager" a young girl with tattoos on her arm and a obvious negative attitude, drop a customer's food product on the ground, pick it up and place it on customers other food. I spoke up and said you can't do that, it's cross contamination . the "manager" got very defensive, and then without changing her gloves grabbed two to go trays to take our order. I told her she needed to change her gioves. She got major attitude, started raising her voice to me, my friend actually left the restaurant because he refused to eat there after seeing her unsafe food handling. I asked her if she was serv safe trained, she refused to answer, she refused to give her name, she refused to give her managers name and she refused to give business office information. But she did say she was human and she makes mistakes, in which I told her she obviously has done this mistake before, they didn't even replace the customers food after it was contaminated by the food that was dropped on ground. I used to really enjoy the food at this restaurant but now I'm def questioning their food handling safety. If this supposed manager can easily mishandled food and contaminate a customer's food with such ease I can only imagine what happens to the food that we can't see them prepare. I do plan to follow up with health department. I hope this business re examines who they have work for them and who represents them. I contacted the office of the business, and not surprisingly have not...
Read moreWas attending a concert at the LBC and wanted to have dinner close by, chose the Red BeeBBQ in Windsor. I ordered the tri-tip/beef brisket with a side of mac & cheese and their cornbread with honey butter, had my food in just a few minutes. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the prices were reasonable. There are tables inside and out.
Mac & cheese was very cheesy and good, but I couldn’t place what spices were used. A slightly different flavor from what I expect from Mac and Cheese but tasty. I did like the fact that they did not skimp on the cheese, very creamy.
I chose the 1- meat, 2-sides combo. The brisket was plentiful - tender and flavorful. It was just warm, that’s my only constructive criticism - I would’ve hoped it was hot or at least warmer than it was.
As far as the BBQ Sauce - I know enough about barbecue that there are many different flavors. For example I do not care for Carolina barbecue with the vinegar base. With their house-sauce I couldn’t pin down the flavor. I wasn’t a huge fan of their sauce as I like mine on the sweet side. The corn bread with the honey butter was very tasty - I would stop by this place again just to pick up an order to go. I would rate 3.5 stars for meal but 4 for staff, prices...

We made a quick lunch stop at RedBeeBBQ, and overall it was… well, okay. Not a disaster, not a dream — somewhere in the middle, like a lukewarm German beer (which is a crime back home).
The brisket? Meh. Not bad, not great — just existing on the plate like it had an identity crisis. The pork ribs were very fatty, which made me feel like I should have brought my own paper towels from home. Smoke flavor was fine, nothing to write a postcard about.
Sides? Oje… the Mac ’n’ Cheese was honestly a shocker — almost like someone added soy sauce as a prank. The coleslaw was so boring I thought maybe they had forgotten the recipe halfway through.
Chicken lineup: The pulled BBQ chicken was okay, just a bit cold. The lime version? Surprisingly tasty — like Chinese fusion snuck into the BBQ kitchen by accident, but it worked! The grilled chicken, however, was coated in teriyaki seasoning. Tasty? Yes. BBQ? Definitely not. And again, too cold to feel fresh-off-the-grill.
So, overall: an edible pit stop, but if you’re craving that authentic BBQ “wow,” this bee doesn’t...
