Levee Park — Attraction in Winona

It's a work in progress. Just opened this yeah it looks much, much better than in previous years. It was an eye - sore with the rotting pile of wood for a ship. Or as some locals called it "The Boat That Don't Float" open air bands from country, jazz, & American Grown Good. I'm sure it will continue to improve year to year. But now the views from season to season is a MUST on your way thru. Not to mention other places on the see & stop-in list within...

Call my most recent experience at Winona's Levy Park was for as much pleasure as it was business because I was fishing. The water is high right now in the current is pretty strong but it is Forest the smaller game fish into the rocks next to the shore which makes targeting them easy enough if you simply cast along the shoreline with the proper lure, and the one that's work best for me is a simple white rooster tail...

It's a beautiful and well-kept park with a great view of the river and lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops located nearby, making this a great place to stop for a relaxing day in downtown Winona. Unfortunately, it is yet another park in Winona that doesn't allow dogs, which is a shame.
