Winona 7 Theatres — Attraction in Winona

My husband and I went to see the latest Mission: Impossible movie at the newly renovated Winona 7 Theatre, and we were both so impressed! The updates to the theatre look fantastic – everything feels fresh, modern, and so much more comfortable than before. The big screen made the action scenes even more exciting, and the sound was crystal clear.

We especially appreciated how clean and welcoming everything felt. It’s clear a lot of thought and effort went into the renovation, and it really shows. It made for a perfect date night!

The only small issue we had was with the new recliner seats – the part where your legs rest doesn’t come up as much as we’d like, which made it a bit uncomfortable. If there’s an option to adjust that so it raises higher, that would definitely improve the experience.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and we’ll definitely be back for future movie nights. Great...

Good not great.

The good: -Treat selection is good. -Free refills on large drinks. Possibly popcorn? -Free popcorn with any drink the last time I went.

The bad: -Audio. The loud parts were alright, but the quiet parts, were too quiet. And I have excellent hearing. This was far too quiet. -Ambient lighting was too bright. I've never been to any theater with the lights as bright as they were here. They were dimmed slightly, but not much. -No AC? I even brought a hoodie because theaters are famous for the intense AC. Even this one. It's always had great AC, but it's been a few years since I had been here. It was over 90 outside and the AC never once ran during the afternoon movie. It was outright stuffy.

Not bad, but not great. Worthwhile if you don't want to drive...

I've been going to this theatre since I was a kid. I'm 40 now almost and I still love it as much as way back. The remodeling and me seating they put in a few years back really added to the experience and I don't know now how we ever went without them! The only thing it's lacking is an IMax but for a small town it's fine. Prices are okay but the popcorn, snacks, and soda can get spend but thats,typical with all theatres. They are really lax on taking in your own beverages, as I do every time and have never been hassled. ...
