Landry Park — Attraction in Winooski

I've no idea if this is an 'official' skatepark or a DIY, or somewhere in the middle.

What I do know is it was fairly busy with some half decent skaters. Decent little scene based around this park it seems.

The ground is a little rough and some of the ramps have seen better days. Plenty of good sized ledges and rails though and a proper 90s style Kareem Campbell hip.

Fairplay to the locals on creating/adding to their own little space. I'm wondering whether or not the City wouldn't mind some fresh DIY concrete and really make a go of it...

This is our neighborhood park. The playground is average. It has swings, slides,monkey bars and a balance beam. There is a small skate park, a baseball field, and tennis courts. There is shade, a few picnic tables, and a porta-potty most of the year. It is a fine park and a good playground for kids, but...

Nothing for older kids ( over 6) to really do so its very boring there. And the teens , 20 somethings dominate skate park so beginners cant use it to learn . we only go so the grands can be outside in the fresh air because theres no where else close...
