My wife and I were meeting another couple (all vaccinated) for dinner and drinks for a 5:15 reservation. We got our drinks and had to sit outside for about 30 minutes before a table was ready. The outdoor heaters were nowhere near sufficient in the sun-freezing temperatures. We ending up buying two four packs, one sour that the keg was kicked and we really wanted to try and another that we liked and wanted to bring home. After being at our table for about 45 minutes we had bought two rounds of drinks and food for everyone, and during this time split two cans of the sour among the four of us, not realizing we were doing something wrong. Throughout this time multiple wait staff came by our table to pick up glasses, drop off food, or pick up the food trays and said nothing about the open cans. Then the guy that picked up our trays told the manager we had open cans. He immediately ran over to our table and began swearing at us, when we tried to apologize he just told us he didn’t believe us. The other woman with us had a can of cider served at the bar that she was drinking, he then began yelling at her asking her where she got that four pack, only to realize it is served at the bar. He then made me give the two remaining cans of the sour back, refunded me for those and told us we had to leave. Still with unfinished drinks from the bar on our table. We would have understood his frustration had we only bought cans from the fridge, however we had bought multiple rounds from the bar and food, and only opened a beer that was kicked at the bar. We even tipped the bar tender for selling us the four packs that we grabbed from the fridge ourselves. Won’t be...
Read moreGreat beer and food but the side of service is an up charge. Came here on a Sunday afternoon to grab a snack and some beer. We sat at the bar and ordered our first beer; I got a lager my fiancé got an IPA. We got the 6 oz pour because we both wanted to try 3 or 4 beers. We finished our first beer quite quickly because they were delicious and we were thirsty. All the beer we tried was amazing and the soft pretzel and the sweet potato fries were delicious. The service was rather disappointing. The kitchen was out of the dipping sauce for the fries so the server suggested we get the maple mustard that we got for the pretzel. When the food came out there was only one thing of mustard for the pretzel and none for the fries. We asked the server if they would go grab another mustard for fries and they told us we would be charged for it. I explained that we were told we were getting the mustard in lieu of the sour cream because the kitchen had run out. She insisted it was going to be an up charge and I explained the situation again but she failed to understand simple customer service and told me she had to ring it in. I really enjoyed the mustard so I said fine I’ll pay for it even though it should have came out with the fries. It took 5 mins for the discussion and another 5 mins for the mustard to be retrieved. Servers come and go so I’m still giving 5 stars because the beer and food...
Read moreMy first visit was pretty dissapointing. We picked the place based on a "dog friendly" google search. We ate outside on the patio with our dog, that part was fine. We parked in the lot which was like 8 dollars a car for the hour or so we were there, and we were meeting people passing through town, so that was already expensive, then we go in to order and they were out of the things most of the people in our party wanted (group of 6). At this point we are already bought in with the expensive parking. It's walk up service, you even go get your waters yourself, It's pretty overpriced, and then the tipping options were high which were on the point of sale terminal. I'm sure if you have been there a few times you figure out ways to make it affordable, like watching free music, drink a beer, etc. But it was an early lunch, and we were not there for beers, and coming from a much larger and more expensive city I was pretty offended at the offerings, the price and the service. We will not be going back there again. I spent about $120 on my group in total and we left hungry, and i had 3 kids with me. We would have left immediately but had already paid 16 plus dollars to park and nothing looked near by to walk to something else. For people looking for a place to meet up with others for FOOD, I would go somewhere else, maybe inquire about other places to park since the meters are $$...
