Casey's Project Store — Attraction in Winslow

Ok so I like Casey’s very much, but today I had a very bad experience with a manager named Melanie, instead of saying we can redo a quote that was expired she said we should have redone it our selves or when Patric was still there and not on vacation. First off yes we could have gone in and redone it ourselves I take responsibility for that just didn’t need to get a lecture from the manager. Secondly I don’t work with Patrick I don’t know when he is on vacation. And being told that she does not have enough man power to collect the items when her herself is standing there talking to the other cashier and another young man standing at the popcorn machine and us being the only customers there just told me she was lazy or they were lazy and felt obligated to make us do our own stuff. But again the quote part is on me but still the disrespect in her voice and eye rolling really left a stain in my mouth and not to mention she literally walked straight to the back and was never to be seen again like she was hiding . Other then that thank to Morgan, Erica and the loader guy for helping us out, they really turned the trip around for us they should be managers not meline. But yes we love buying local but not like this and not to be treated like this and talked to like I’m 5 years old thank you...

Don't go here to color match paint. On 2 separate occasions I brought in samples for the store to match and had issues each time. Since they couldn't match the paint stating that it would come out too dark, an associate in the paint department assisted me in selecting a swatch from their stock colors. The swatch matched my sample close enough in the store but in actual sunlight it was vastly different. I then called to see if there was anything I could do about it and was told there wasn't. I took the same sample to Home Depot and they matched it...

So Casey's recently exchanged ownership. The new owners are getting after it! Remodeling, adding, cleaning, organizing and being there for us. I've always been happy Casey's is open in Winslow, as it's our only building and hardware store, but with the new owners it's providing even for services to the town. And I just bought a waterpump there yesterday for my swamp cooler, check the price online, and the price was right in line with all the big box...
