CAJIAN — Restaurant in Winslow

My husband and myself got take out from here tonight. I ordered the Steak Fried Rice and my husband ordered the Combo with Shrimp and Steak. They give you plenty of rice but I would suggest meat portions be a bit better considering the price. Also cut back a little on the soy sauce and maybe put the yum yum sauce on the side please. Also we ordered some edamame for $8 more. We got our order and as we are walking out, I realized they didn't even put the edamame in the order. Cook/Server wasn't even going to tell us lol. He gave us a refund but for $7 instead of $8. Guess he can keep that extra $1 to go with the reasonable tip we already left. I was trying to be understanding since he was the only one working. He seemed pretty stressed. Also might want to take the "We deliver with doordash" sign down. We actually ordered through doordash last night just for the order to be cancelled because apparently they deliver on their own and had no driver 🤷🏼‍♀️. I can say meal was pretty decent though. Just getting back from a road trip, didn’t want to forget to spread the word about this place. Never had a poke bowl before but I’ll never need to try another one again to know CAJIAN makes them best. All the seafood comes from Pier 22 through Shamrock. High quality stuff. Very trustworthy. It wasn’t the food that is causing me to write this review though, it’s the way Chace(the owner) made me feel like family and I really enjoyed hearing his story. Great things can come out of just simple small talk. That’s how it started.
