Everything on the menu is great but especially try any of the birria items -- the tacos, grilled cheese, ramen, you can't go wrong. This is the best birria in the state of Arizona. You won't regret it. This is a small family owned-business that started out as a food truck and has made their way up. Rob, the chef, puts all of his love and passion into every item and you can truly taste it with every bite. After eating their birria, you will feel all of that love and good energy and leave their restaurant feeling so high on life. It is an amazing experience. Their food hits every single time. Because of Google Reviews we tried Shorty's on our recent stayover. Shorty's exceeded our expectations. It's been open for about 3 months and already successful The atmosphere was really welcoming. The food was wonderful. The cheese quesadilla was simply pesented and perfect. The Birria Tacos are a must try. It was a recipe created by the owner Rob's grandmother and was a staple of Rob's very successful food truck. The Shrimp street tacos are also worth having. Sat outside In the hot sun waiting for 3 birria tacos and a grilled cheese sandwich because we had our dog with us. I had to go in because I ordered iced tea and was served water. They had to refill machine. Girl brought me another drink outside. Finally hubby went in and was ready to ask for the bill for the drinks only and they said food would be out in a minute. 5 minutes later food was brought out.

Tacos must have sat because shells were like mush. His grilled cheese came without the jalapeno.

They took 20% off our bill. They should be ashamed but probably 98% of their business is tourist trade that probably won't...
