King Central Park — Attraction in Winston-Salem

Although I've been just a few times, My visits there were all equally pleasant and fun for everyone that came with me to each of the visits, also I'd like to say that of the last three visits I was there each visit was actually for a different reason for why myself and my family and friends chose to come each time, I believe my first visit to the park was to go on an Easter Egg Hunt which at the time was sponsored by the town of King, It was so much fun my grandchildren didn't want to leave, My next visit to this beautiful park was by invitation to watch one of my granddaughters perform with her school band class which was also equally entertaining, My third time to this park was simply because we enjoyed our past visits so much that on a particular lunch date we had planned for a week or so and we were planning to meet at KFC for lunch but then one of us made an awesome suggestion which was to take our KFC order to the park and make the afternoon a picnic lunch, So ultimately what I can say is not only is the park a beautiful place to visit and have an awesome time and fun but it's honestly so much more , It is full of so many possibilities, even for just a walk in the park, remember the saying, So go see for yourself, Oh and you should really bring the kids for that walk in the park too! Google will try to take you to the rear access which is for city employees only. You must search for the veterans Central Park. The advertised lake here for fishing is not a lake. It’s barely a pond and I doubt more than four feet at the deepest point. Some lovey koi swim here and the sunfish bite and there are a lot of turtles to steal your bait. King Central Park is a beautiful place to walk, run, meander, or just sit and contemplate! The walking track is paved and offers some light to moderate hills to make your walking exercises a good workout.
