Been a couple times in the morning through the drive through. Both times one car ahead of me, over ten minutes to get a bagel. First time was BEC, no cheese was on it. Second time was cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Cream choose was bright and looked like it was made fresh but had zero flavor. Bagels had no cinnamon flavor or raisins. I asked for a different flavor on the other half of my bagel when ordering (since the person taking my order recommended it), then she said they couldn’t do two different cream cheeses. The man serving the food walking around to the cars had on food service gloves but was touching the bags of food, the doors, cups etc. I hope he wasn’t using those gloves inside to prep as well, but I didn’t see in there. Overall, I’d say 2 star but maybe I’d go up if I tried their drinks. These bagel don’t compare to the bagels at the place in Kernersville, but I’m not sure there’s another bagel place in King. The pic is after I pulled the top half off to eat in separately bc I forgot to ask to have it cut in half. Thin little store type bagels. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars bc it looks nice inside, but I haven’t been in and bc the bagel and a bottle of water was ~$6.50, so not overpriced.
Hope everyone else’s...
Read moreNice. But was hoping for more "Donuts" variety as stated in name. The emphasis is on "And More". Bagel sandwiches, very nice specialty desert & cake slices, ice cream and frozen drink selections. Doughnuts are not even displayed. They have only several kinds and dress them Duck Donut style, I guess in the back. And only have several topping styles. Not my kind of Donut shop. The basic glazed is delicious but small & not worth 2 bucks. Basic drip coffee is just ok. Cream & sugar are in packs on a little table you fix yourself. I hate that. DD puts it in for you and perfect and is much quicker. If they give you cream cups & sugar in drive through, that's an AUTOMATIC show stopper. I'm not pulling over to dress my coffee. (Get a push button sugar & creamer machine like DD and do it). And keep the diy table for those that want it). Not a quick serve coffee/donut shop here. Aside from these fixable flaws, it looks like a decent place. Prices are competitive but fair (for today's overpriced economy). Need to spread out tables a bit more. They're clustered up too close and feels awkward. Now that I know I'd "occasionally" come back for specialty stuff but a quick donut and/or just coffee.. Nah! DD...
Read moreCoffee was excellent. Strong enough to hold up to flavored syrups but not with that bottom of the pot burnt flavor that you get at Starbucks. As others have noted they could really use some sugar-free syrup options. Service at the drive-thru was also excellent very pleasant young man came out and patiently waited while I read through the menu and gave him my order. Took a couple of minutes for pickup but not surprising since obviously they had to toast my bagel. Now on to what was not so good- The bagel. I got an everything bagel with egg and sausage. The egg was flat and dry like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for about an hour or so. Sausage wasn't bad but the bagel was dry, tough and tasted a bit stale. No butter or anything on the bagel. I was there about 1:00 in the afternoon so I'm guessing the bagel had been sitting around since early in the morning. But even with that I would have expected it to taste fresher. Prices are reasonable. They do charge a 3% credit card surcharge which is becoming the norm for a lot of fast food places. I will go back for the coffee and I'd like to try some of the donuts and pastries but I don't know if I'll try a...
