First, I want to say that I really enjoyed Dr. Filardo as well as the front office staff that occupied the business when i was last seen there. That being said, at the time i purchased my packages the staff was not as up to par. Both times I was taken into a room and given an official price quote written on the tiniest sticky note ever manufactured. I actually lost one and had to get a second consult. When this happened i was advised by a woman who claimed to be the office manager. She told me that if i got IPL laser that it was mandatory to get peels with it. She didn't educate me on the types of peels or on how each would benefit/ assist the IPL- All i knew was that i was getting some kind of peel (and each one was different). The IPL turned out pretty good, I was pleased with the initial results, but had i known the VI PEEL would have assisted the removal of my melasma at a much deeper level than the others I would have been more than happy to spend the extra money. After I bought the package I was told that I had to buy their products even though i explained i was already using a RX professional brand. I spent $200 on the IMAGE line and it is ok at best. The clear cell is worth it, but the rest is hit or miss. I prefer my OBAGI and I feel like I shouldn't have to buy a specific line just because that laser clinic carries it. Well, the manager/ esthetician did my first peel and did not tell me to stop using hydroquinone prior and burned my skin causing additional hyperpigmentation. The IPL dimished it but it has now taken an additional 3 VI PEEL's (somewhere else) to fade it to the point of before the damage. Next, my tattoo... I spent $1800 on 10 sessions, I think?? The way they divide it up you have 11 color and 9 black and this and that... I am working on my MBA and i couldn't keep it straight. Anyways, I was seeing Dr. Filardo every 8 weeks for removal for about 2 years and my tattoo is still very pigmented. I am now using a dermatologist utilizing the Picosure method and I have been advised that i have some hypopigmentation (scaring) from using a laser designed for the face on my tattoo. I know technology changes drastically in 2 years so I am not implying this was intentional, but I was convinced that i had some sort of heavy metal in my ink that made it hard to remove because that's what was advised. Now that I am waiting 12 weeks in between treatment and using a different laser I am seeing better results. Not to mention the pain is drastically reduced from 5-10 minutes to a flat 30 seconds. I really enjoyed my experience at Wymore and I love Dr. Filardo's energy but the office could really stand some improvements. For one, stop sending text reminding people that you are going to charge them if they miss their appointment. That coupled with the high sales tactics, high prices, non-luxury office, and forever changing office staff strikes me as a bit high on the shade meter. The high sales pressure was enough to make me miss my last laser session. Every time i went in someone was attempting to sell me on another procedure before my first was even complete. I feel like I would have spent more money here if I wasn't so offput by the constant...
Read moreI have always had a good experience at this location however, my last experience in March was unconscionable and did not give me the results that I paid for after 49 units of Botox. This is what my face looks like today. I tried to dispute it on my credit card, but they said that since I got a service that I had to pay for it, I may have gotten a service, but it wasnât the service that I paid for and I do not think that Botox was used because I have never had a bad result like this with Botox donât waste your money. This cost me $490 I requested to have a frozen look and I even took more units than the advised. Also, I am not sure why they have Dr. Anthony Filardo overseen this practice or owning this practice when he does not even follow up with his patients and make sure they get the results that they paid for. and I am pretty sure that most of the positive reviews on here are people that they are friends with her. Have a good relationship with because I canât imagine that someone like myself paid $490 and has these wrinkles would write a good review.. please see the below letter from the merchant when you go to Wymore Laser you sign a waiver and it doesnât matter if you were not happy with the services you still have to pay. Legally, there has to be doctor overseeing the site , which is Dr. Anthony Fillardo , and he never reached out to me after several attempts to contact him regarding my dissatisfaction.. so not even sure why he is there. Finally was able to track down the doctor and he promised to call me back. I agreed to come back and get some extra Botox to be frozen. It has been a week now I have not heard back. I have left a message for him but nothing as of yet I would not go there. They are dishonest and do not keep their word and I do not believe they are using the products they say they are. I have given them every opportunity to fix this, but they have not...
Read moreI am not one to really write bad reviews as I believe sometimes things donât work out or sometimes there are just bad days but I am very frustrated with my experience and I feel it needs to be shared. My husband and I have gone to Wymore multiple times for Botox and been completely satisfied. On my visit in December I discussed getting some filler to minimize my mouth lines. Angel suggested what I thought was the perfect solution that would help with the lines conservatively. She discussed the pricing and procedure and my husband returned to get the $750 gift card for the procedure. I had it done and waited patiently for two weeks to see when the results would appear. I had about a 30% difference on one side of my mouth and zero difference on the other. I had pictures I took prior to procedure and numerous throughout the two weeks after. When I returned to show my lack of result and pictures they basically told me they could not do anything but put a claim in with the filler company and see if the company would compensate anything but Wymore itself had nothing to offer. They even agreed there was minimal difference if any in the pictures. So... I purchased the $750 procedure that you recommended, paid full price, documented the results and had them tell me the pictures donât show much difference but everyone responds different to the fillers and they cannot do anything but offer me more fillers at a discounted price to fix it. đł . Your business, your suggestion, your product, your results and you can do nothing for my $750 documented procedure that didnât work....
