Friendship Park isn't just a park; it's a time machine, a memory-maker, and a little slice of Oviedo paradise. From the squeals of laughter echoing across the playground as I conquered the climbing structure for the first time, to the quiet moments spent watching the sunset paint the lake in hues of orange and pink, this park has been the backdrop to countless cherished memories. We've celebrated birthdays with picnics under the shade of the majestic oaks, chased eachother on the park, and simply enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching the other kids bound with joy through the open spaces.

What truly sets Friendship Park apart is its thoughtful design. There's something for everyone. The park's commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the area is evident in every carefully placed bench and every thriving tree. And let's not forget the added bonus of having the Oviedo Museum right there! It's a fantastic opportunity to combine a day of outdoor fun with a dose of local history and culture. We've learned so much about Oviedo's past thanks to its convenient location within the park.

Friendship Park is more than just a place; it's a feeling. It's the feeling of community, of connection, and of pure, unadulterated joy. It's a place where families can come together, where friendships are forged, and where memories are made that last a lifetime. If you're looking for a park that offers something for everyone, look no further than Friendship Park. It's a true Oviedo gem, and I can't wait to make many more memories there in the...

I drive all over central Florida and have been to many different parks and this one is in my top 5. It’s completely fenced in with only one exit/entrance so it’s easy to keep kids safe. It’s a huge play area and the fenced area is even large and includes two separate picnic areas as well as benches. The three story playground keeps the very top layer safe even for little ones as the only exit points from that high are the two slides. Several different options for climbing including stairs, rock wall, ladders. The ground is almost all that green Astro turf. It is a popular park though so it stays busy even during the week days. Parking is a little confusing because it doesn’t have its o it parking lot. It’s located on the front of the elementary school parking lot and you pull into the school...

The first time I came here my son was three and I was a few months pregnant. That was a big mistake lol. This park is a little extra specially with a wild guy like mine. I started to coming back again after baby was born and he had gotten a little older and it is officially our favorite part! One of only a few places that can keep my son entertained for hours! I love that there is always kids here. There's a park that looks a little similar down the street but literally never seen another child's there. The bench setup or nice I like that the swings are in the shade. A few places make me a little nervous about their safety. I don't love that there's a back gate along the road that is...

This park was fun but also kind of nerve wracking. My daughter has a visual disability so I was worried about her falling from some of the higher platforms as there were kids playing hide and seek in really tight quarters and she could have easily fallen off the edges while they pushed past her but I do not blame the park for this and it just required a little extra supervision on my part to make sure she was safe. Also, the slides caused a lot of static electricity buildup so she kept getting shocked after going down them and the swings screeched like banshees as they rocked back and forth. Overall, it was more fun for her than it was for me but I do think we will go back again at some point.
