Winthrop Beach is a nice, quiet, local beach. Rocks are everywhere though. When the tide is low, I like to walk out to the 5 Sisters (the breakers) and climb the rocks. Far to the left, there is a mini breaker to walk out to. I like jumping off the sea wall onto the sand. All the way to the left, there are rocks, so you can hop from rock to rock.
