SprayChic Airbrush Tanning — Attraction in Wixom

Edit- Changing my rating to 5 stars. I booked an appointment yesterday last minute since the place I usually go to was closed and I needed a tan before vacation. We had a strong storm come through while I was on my way and got caught in traffic due to a fallen tree blocking the road. I called to let them know I was running late, expecting to be out of luck since I would be at least 30 minutes late. The girl was very understanding and offered to move me to a later appointment the same day which was perfect. I arrived and was greeted by Abby who said she would be doing the tan. Abby said she heard I was unhappy with my last tan and asked what I was unhappy with so she could do better. I got nervous and expected her to be snotty considering my previous review but she was nice and very professional, not rude at all. She did the tan quickly while also making sure I was satisfied with the color and how it looked. I washed off this morning and so far the tan looks great, I’m really happy with the color and how smooth my skin looks. No streaks at all!! I’m glad I gave it another shot and will definitely go back again. I didn’t see the response from the owner till yesterday or I would’ve tried again sooner. It’s rare for business owners to respond to reviews these days let alone offer to help fix the problem. I was genuinely surprised to see a response and appreciate that she cared about my experience and reached out wanting to help. If you happen to see this, thank you. ** I was so excited to get a spray tan here after seeing all the glowing positive reviews. I was expecting a quality beautiful spray tan based on what others were saying but unfortunately I’m very disappointed. I got my tan on Sunday and when I rinsed off I was streaky with large blotches in several spots. I’m not new to spray tanning so my prep definitely wasn’t the problem. The girl who did my tan was very nice and the salon was clean and comfortable but unfortunately the tan itself wasn’t good. When I was getting dressed I noticed a few spots that looked streaky and pointed it out before I left but I was assured it was normal and would blend in once I rinsed (unfortunately that didn’t happen). I was the last appointment for the day so maybe she was just in a rush to get out of there I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try again in the future making sure to book way before they close...

I seriously never feel compelled to write a review for anything but in this case I felt it was necessary. Being fair skinned I never have naturally tanned so I have tried everything from jergens to mystic spray booth tanning and eventually getting airbrush from a few different places. I can honestly say I've never gotten the results promised or that I wanted. I went to spray chic on Wednesday and got the Venetian tan. The woman who did mine, Ashley, was awesome. She was informative, suggested what tan I should get and overall friendly and made my experience great. It's now Saturday and my tan hasn't faded in the least. I had no streaking, spotting or missed spots. I am as tan as I was the day I got it even after being on vacation for the last 4 days and swimming, sweating, being on the beach, in the jacuzzi and even shaving. I am extremely happy and I will never go anywhere...

I think I have only had one issue with a large splotch on my leg but, I let Carissa know and she fixed it - so no issue really!
