The Nick in Wolfeboro is a great place for both children and adults, and it is free. There is a full dog park, a six-lane synthetic track that is excellent for walking and running, clean playgrounds, soccer fields and a baseball diamond. There is also a clean bathroom that is open during the summer months. Lots of parking. There is an approx. one mile walk around the perimeter of the park as well as an adjacent skate park. The Nick first opened in 2007 and is now open year-round to the general public. As I understand, it is supported entirely by donations - - well worth donating to and supporting the many youth athletic activities.

The nick is a beautiful place plenty of room to work out run walk ,one big beautiful track place is just clean, beautiful. .Check out these pictures and see what you think. And when you’re done walking or running walk across the street there is a beach out there called Albee beach which is a really nice place too. You have to be a town resident to use that beach though.

Last minute choice to swing by The Nick for Eclipse viewing was a great choice! Lots of other families and folks there and a super lovely woman brought some fresh home baked chocolate chip cookies around to share. Just a great place and example of the community we have here ❤️

Great park. Several big ball fields (soccer & baseball) with nets/bases out for use if you bring the rest of the gear to play with. Well kept track, dog park and skate park. Two playgrounds, for both younger and older kids. Good length walking trail, packed sand (not paved, but still stroller friendly). Water spout along the trail to keep your pups hydrated. Snack shop when sports are in season, but there are vending machines when...

Ignorant people (at least one idiot, specifically) have made this place a public health concern. Last weekend we visited this park with our two dogs. After we were there for approximately 15 minutes, a woman announced that she wasn't picking up her dog's poop because it had diarrhea. She went on to say the dog had already had diarrhea THREE times, but she couldn't up because "it was too runny". I wish I was...
