Oasys Day Spa — Attraction in Wood-Ridge

I recently had facial at this place and was quite disappointed. There was minimal extraction, yet aesthetician spent 10-15 minutes wiping scrub off my face, speaking of inefficient use of time. When you spent 100+$ on 60 min facial, you expect things move quicker to allow sufficient time for steam, scrub, extraction and mask to take place in order to see results, and not 70% time used solely on applying and removing products. Literally. No wonder when the time came for mask, it was left on my face for less than 5 minutes! How can one realize full benefit of facial. Everything about my experience was below mediocre and needless to say, I see 0 results. Cannot speak about massages since I didn't have one. However, as for facial, I would not waste time or money. I was denied a facial because, when asked, I honestly answered the questions on the survey and stated that I was a COVID survivor and had had it in March/April. They told me they didn't feel comfortable with me being there and treating me and asked me to leave and/or reschedule. If this is their policy it is best to ask these questions prior to making the appointment. This discrimination was extremely rude, disrespectful and against the law. The owner did apologize but it doesn't take away from being denied the service because of my health history. In times like these, businesses should be happy anyone is even walking in the door. So sad to be treated like this after everything I've been through. I hope they change their policies or better train their employees to be more tolerant and understanding and possibly better educate them on the facts- that it's completely safe to be around a survivor, months...

I have been looking for a good place since I moved to NJ couple of years ago and I am so happy I found Oasys Day Spa! Laila is my Angel, my go-to Lady when I need a massage! She is soooo professional, so kind, and has golden hands! I always feel reborn when I leave the room! And on top of everything, she is such a kind and lovely person that knows exactly when to leave you be during the massage and when to start a conversation. She helped me so much after I had my baby.
