Warning: DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! DON'T USE THEIR TAILOR!!! DAMAGED PRODUCTS!! We purchased my wife's lehenga from here in December for our upcoming wedding. We took the lehenga to the tailor they recommended, Tahira, for alterations.

Tahira works out of the back of a house in a space that's so small that you can barely move with a bird cage right outside with parrots that are violently squawking. She doesn't speak much English making it very difficult to communicate. She rescheduled our pick up three times!

When we got there to pick up, there were people SCREAMING and FIGHTING in the house. We called multiple times and couldn't reach her, knocked on her back door with no answer, and eventually had to go knock where the fight was happening. It was a very uncomfortable situation that made us feel unsafe.

When she gave us the lehenga, there was an orange marker/paint stain on the inner lining that shows right through the outer layer. She said it wasn't from her and that it's from the manufacturer.

We took the lehenga back to Miss India and explained the situation. After us giving extensive detail and explaining that we never touched the dress after buying it, they said they couldn't do anything to help us but give us a $20 credit...for a $1400 dress!

When my mother, who purchased the dress, called to follow-up about the situation.... they hung up as soon as they realized why she was calling and refused to pick up any following calls!!

Our wedding is weeks away and now we have to figure out how to fix this on our own.

Horrible customer service for a damaged product that they refuse to take responsibility for!!!
