In the realm of gastronomic gallivanting, where taste buds embark on whimsical adventures and flavors frolic with mirth, stands the illustrious Clove 12 Restobar, lovingly stewarded by our mischievous friend, Ansh Mehta, whom we affectionately dub the monkey of culinary capers. Ah, the name itself, Clove 12, a veritable symphony of aromatic allure, promises a spice-laden escapade through taste bud territory.
Amidst the grandeur of our high school tennis banquet, I must confess, a tardy entrance denied me the indulgence of appetizers. Yet fear not, for my culinary conquest commenced with the chili paneer, an epicurean extravaganza that orchestrated a delicate dance of spices upon my quivering tongue. Oh, the joy! And then, behold, the orange kulfi, a mystical concoction hitherto unknown to my palate, yet it bewitched my sweet tooth with a prowess that only the most daring of desserts possess.
Even our corpulent comrade, the legendary Vishal Nadella, known to consume rations meant for four, found solace and satiety in the gastronomic realm of Clove 12. Such was the allure of the food, as delicious as a well-marinated adventure, hearty enough to mend the cracks of a broken heart. And lo, our Taiwanese amigo, the esteemed Brandon Chang, indulged in the paneer, his discerning palate enraptured by the intoxicating medley of Indian spices. He, in his infinite wisdom, declared that he felt "cultured" while savoring each morsel, for the dish exemplified the epitome of Indian culinary prowess.
To the Mehta family, whose benevolence shines brighter than the sun's rays on a summer's day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for accommodating our unruly band, even in the face of our impromptu gathering. Oh, the ambiance! The elegance of the lighting, a tapestry woven by celestial beings, blessed us with the opportunity to capture "hella tuff flicks," immortalizing our triumphs and camaraderie in pixels of glory.
Thus, dear gastronomes, I conclude my chronicle of the marvelous Clove 12 Restobar. With resounding applause and a twinkle in my eye, I bestow upon this culinary haven a rating that defies the bounds of rationality, a skyward soaring 100/10. I implore you, seekers of epicurean bliss, to heed my whimsical proclamation, for Clove 12 shall be your passport to fantastical feasts, where laughter intertwines with flavor, and mirth dances upon the palate. Go forth, dear friends, and savor the magic that lies within these hallowed walls, for an unforgettable dining experience awaits those who dare to indulge. Bon appétit, with a sprinkle of...

The moment we entered, we were greeted by the restaurant’s captivating ambiance, with its serene blue tones creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening.
What truly set ‘Clove 12’ apart was the exemplary service provided by the staff, particularly Manju and Harsh. Manju, with her radiant smile and genuine warmth, made my family feel exceptionally welcomed, adding a special touch to my mom’s birthday celebration. Harsh ensured that our dining experience was seamless, attentively meeting our needs with efficiency and care. Their active and energetic service, combined with the professionalism of the entire team, significantly enhanced our evening.
Our culinary journey was equally remarkable, beginning with a selection of vegetarian appetizers that delighted our taste buds. The Methi Matar Malai stood out, with its rich flavors and creamy texture highlighting the finesse of North Indian cuisine. Accompanied by perfectly baked Bullet Naan and Garlic Naan, our meal progressed to a delectable climax with the Veg Dum Biryani, a symphony of aromatic spices and perfectly cooked rice that comforted and satisfied in every bite.
The combination of mouthwatering dishes, a soothing ambiance, and above all, attentive and personalized service, made ‘Clove 12’ not just a meal, but a celebration. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience, and a place we’ll surely return...
Read moreFirst visit to this restaurant .. the new owners just changed the name :) interiors are the same old. This restaurant has been in lot of talks because of the 17th at old culinary prodigy experimenting with Indian food to create fusion marvels. Here my take in this place Ambiance -2/5 it’s old Setup - 2/5 nothing unique and their cutlery is old and worn out Service - 2/5 slow Culinary- 1.5/5 - they have a long way to go .. need to get their basics right Pricing- pricing is premium family (5)diner costed 170$. We ordered Papri chat - used broken namak pare with yogurt and was too sweet , lacked basic flavors which a papdi should have. Not much effort in the kitchen tasted just one out of ready made packets. Lamb chops- well cooked but poorly spiced/ flavored looks like the chek loved salt as a spice because there was free use of salt all the way in all the dishes we orders today Chicken seekh— looks good low on flavor but better than chops Main course Dal makhni- their dal makhni is not conventional but was OK if they would have cooked it in the required spices it would taste well Rice- which came with the dal was partially cooked they took them out too soon from steamer Chicken curry- gravy construct was home style but again locales flavor and abundance of salt.. looks like the chef was in a hurry to fast cook gravy resulting in dish tasting quick fix ones Chicken fried rice- good thing low salt and low oil but again flavor missing totally Roti- this was ok only suggestion is for them to use Aaata and not maida Their...
