Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette — Attraction in Woodburn

I had been here a few times in the last two months and my experience was very good. Today I stopped by and everything I wanted was over the top expensive there were barely any red tags even though its red tag week. Top top off the not so good experience when I went to pay I had a set of salt and pepper shakers they were priced 3.99 for the set and were wrapped together with a rubber band but they came apart from the rubberband so the cashier asked if they went together I told him yes and he seemed to not believe me I told him he could go check there were several sets of them he just said that they usually write in pen on the tag priced for two and that the ones I had didnt say anything I told him none of the othes I saw had anything written on them and again told him to go check I felt like he was accusing me of switching the tag but did not go and check so he could just see for himself that someone apparently didn't do their job in the back and I was being embarresed infront of everyone with the incriminating questions. If employees are so concerned they should ask someone to check instead of standing ther accusing people noone is gonna feel welcome to shop there with...

I would give them a 0 stars if I could, I go to drop a small box of items off and there were two people standing outside waiting to go to work. I was told that I couldn't leave as they had to be open, well that's okay and I understand but someone had already dropped off a pile of stuff which I pointed out and was told that it was illegal.They also advertise that they take furniture, well put it this way they will take it if they want, I tried to leave a very Nice Lazy Boy chair that was very lightly used, they wouldn't take it. The stuff they sell inside is over priced, I think that items are picked over by their employees, before it is offered for sale. I will never support this place again for anything. I will give them 3 stars, I think they have a lot of issues with some of their employees yes, and I do think it'd be cool if they sold more of the stuff they hoard in the back (which by the way is either "junk" that gets sent off to the outlet goodwills or just to salvage). I'm not going to give them a 1 star though because from what I get is that they have, since probably the last year, have gotten rid of the more rudest of their employees, and I'm not sure if I want to jinx the fact that inventory seems to be picking back up at least on the electrical shelves, but this place could still improve very much, at this point It be cool to see more electrical (even without cords) To be on the shelves.
