Nice park , love taking my walks but witnessed something strange and way not cool a staff member that was walking around complaining out loud about having to be out in the rain and was just not getting a friendly vibe at all but then he noticed a man and his dog sitting at a picnic table and his dog was just laying by his feet chewing on one of the hundreds of sticks laying all over the place and he immediately started yelling at the man asking him if he was gonna clean the stick up after his dog chewed up the stick he had now there were branches and sticks laying all over the grounds, the man apologized said he didn't realize it was against the rules for a dog to chew a stick he found laying on the ground. This worker then grabbed his garbage can and his rake and proceeded to walk fast towards the man and his big German Shepard [ now not sure I'd rush a strang 100 LB plus dog waving a rake around yelling that dogs aren't allowed to chew sticks in the park 😳] but the man was very accommodating he quickly stood up told the worker please sir stop running up on us I'll pick it up and he did just that to diffuse the situation that should of never happened I know people have bad days but dam. So be careful if walking your dog and he happens to pick...

Yet another of my local favorite parks to kick it at. they have a boat launch for the fishermen, kyackers and party barges, a huge playground to suite and child's wild needs a covered aria for those family get together plenty of wide open grassy spots to set down a blanket and relax on or run your dog , park benches , shallow to deep swimming tho I don't swim in lakes. This park even comes complete with a virtical skate park with what I would consider a bowl large and deep enough to satisfy the pros which from what I understand "drop" in at from time to time for a local challenge . Sadly Only one set of small bathrooms away from damn near everything but they do have port-o-potys including a wheelchair accessible style john if needed . Plenty of parking unless it a hot day ,in which case you might have to park across the street . Clean ,safe and perfect for a sunny day. Hope to see y'all out there. Stay...

Love this little lake for my little guy!

It’s awesome to take him fishing and/or build sand castles and then take a little trip to the playground.

It’s been one of our favorite spots since we moved here a couple months ago. Park is very clean, potty’s are not terribly gross for porta-John’s and it’s a beautiful little area.

They’ve got life vests kids can use when they’re down near the lake, I thought that was pretty awesome (just keep mind of the yellow jackets and shake out the life vests before putting them on).

There’s also a large area for dogs to walk and play as well, with great humored signs 😉

It really a perfect little spot for all ages, especially...

Great man-made lake for SUP or kayak use, swimming, fishing (stocked) and all around family water fun. Nice beaches and shady areas along with ample open grassy areas for land based fun&games. Parking was quite full but park didn't feel too crowded. Fairly easy access from I-5, you can see the lake as you drive by, which means that road noise can also be heard from the park. The small town of Woodland is walking distance from the park. On our 2nd visit it was an extremely hot day, we were lucky to find free shady space. Recommend bringing a canopy for guaranteed shade.

Really awesome park and water front place. I really can't find anything negative to say about it. We stumbled on it by mistake, coming home from a camping site. It is now definitely a pinned location we will be driving back to hangout at. The playground is huge and something for everyone aged kid to play on and enjoy. Actual bathrooms are a huge plus. Lots of sandy area on the water to relax and the water is sandy and amazing. Can swim or bring some tubes, paddleboards, or anything else toy want and just enjoy it. Does get VERY busy.
