It’s a great place and lots of fun. But what’s up with some of the “life guards” it’s like they don’t want the kids to have fun. The kids were having fun spraying eachother and this one staff member came and stepped right in front of it and turned off the spray sprinkler they were playing with. Can someone please take her whistle away lol. She doesn’t stop!!! A mother gave her child a drink because well it’s 90 degree out and the kids are running around. And this staff member really made an announcement that you have to leave if you take take a sip out of your drink.. like cmon! Read moreA really nice park on Shrewsbury St with an outdoor amphitheater and a splash area for kids during the hot weather. The park is slightly sloped but has flat areas for easy walks. Dogs are welcomed on a leash. The park is easily accessible for handicapped. A bus stop is located at the entrance. The granite griffins (winged lions) that flank the entrance are out of place since the rest of the park doesn't match their significance. It also has a splash pad in the summer; it even has a tennis court I believe and a stage used for music performances etc. seasonal restrooms during splash pad.
