I first visited M. Pope & Co. because of the high google reviews during my search for an engagement ring and I am pleased to see that the reviews were well warranted. I first met with Michael, who spent over an hour with me explaining the different scales on which a diamond is graded, taking the time to make sure that I fully understand the all of the different options so that I could make an informed decision. There was no added pressure to choose a diamond at that time, or any pressure to make a commitment at all, the session was purely informational and greatly appreciated. Over the next month, I had more meetings with various members of the M. Pope staff including both Jamie and Carly, who were both just as professional and inviting as Michael. They walked me through the next steps, picking a diamond, a design, and a metal and at no point did I feel that I was being steered towards a higher priced option. A month later I was able to pick up my ring and it was absolutely beautiful. The workmanship was perfect and it is exactly how I pictured it (maybe even a little bigger than I expected)! The value was incredible, I was able to compare my quote to other friends who went to competing shops for their engagement rings and the deal I received seems to good to be true. My now fiancé and I will be returning to M. Pope when we decide to look at wedding bands. I can't recommend them enough!

I’m not exaggerating when I say that working with Michael and Melissa was the easiest and most enjoyable part of the entire engagement/wedding process.

When we first went in to look at engagement rings, my wife and I were quite nervous but Michael’s calming presence immediately put us at ease. One of my favorite things about our experience with Michael was that he wasn’t just knowledgeable, he made an effort to educate us so we could make an informed decision. I also appreciate that he didn’t try to up sell me when I was buying the ring - he tried to help me keep the cost down.

Almost two years later and only a few weeks before the wedding, the wife and I decided we should probably get some wedding bands. We were already out and decided to stop at the nearest jeweler to just get some simple bands. Almost immediately I knew we were making a mistake. I looked at my wife and said, “Let’s go to M. Pope.”

The following day we went back to see Michael and Melissa. They were having a day. Their power had been out for most of the day, their systems were down, and Melissa was on a break between her Masters classes. Even with all of that going on, they still treated us with with the same unparalleled professionalism they had shown us two years prior.
