University of Michigan Health-West Hospital — Attraction in Wyoming

I have to call in Monthly to get my Son a prescription who has a disability. I call the Pharmacy /s first to see who has the medication and then quick call the office to get the prescription sent over before the Phcy runs out of it. The prescription is for the generic Vyvance. A very hard medication to find. Called this morning after I talked to the Phcy and then called U of M Health. They said they would process asap. 7 hours later I call the phcy and they tell me no prescription has been sent. I called back to U of ‘M Health and got MELISSA and she gave a bunch of negativity on how it would be 24-48 hours before it was called in. First we can’t wait as the Phcy will run out of the drug. She wanted to argue I have been doing this every month for a year and the prescription has been sent quickly. Poor customer service as far as I am concerned. A normal refill might not be a problem but the generic Vyvanse is hard to get. The second thing about this is why am I even calling all these drug stores shouldn’t the doctors office be doing it’s. He is disabled and if he does not get the medication it is a big problem. I very seldom write negative reviews but felt I had no choice in this case. We will certainly talk to Dr Johnson directly about it as well.

If I was rating just Dr Muza Moons I would give a 5 star review and she’s the only reason I stay there for my care, but the office and service from the staff are awful. No exaggeration, I’ve waited over an hour on the phone many times, trying to get through, and still never talked to a nurse and I’m an established patient. Waiting days for a response on my chart and sometimes no answer back whatsoever. It’s like a never ending goat rodeo, calling, messaging and waiting. I’ve currently been in the phone for 45 minutes, on hold, and I’ve been third in the queue for 20 of those minutes....

Waited 8 months and drove 3 hours to see a specialist, however when I arrived I couldn't find the actual clinic. I spent almost half an hour driving around the campus, tried calling the office to get more info, and couldn't get through to anyone (message indicating there were "15 callers ahead" of me). Finally found the clinic, but it was 5 minutes past my appt time and they refused to see me, wanted to reschedule. When I told the receptionist I'd driven 3 hours, had not been given directions, and taken a whole day off work, she just shrugged and had nothing polite to...
