Not one to complain especially at a simple food place like this which I always enjoy. We got there at 1130am on a Saturday and host was very friendly and able to seat us since we were on the waitlist.

After that it went down hill...Lindsey our server was not friendly or geared toward the customer. It took 40 mins to get our food (ordered 2 breakfasts), there was plenty of staff that day and other tables were getting food on time. In that 40 mins she never stopped at our table to at least mention it might be a while and had to ask another person on our food. Once our server came with food we asked why it took so long and she said "staff in training". (Keep in mind others were getting food in orderly time and we ordered 2 breakfasts) and just walked away with no apology. We informed her that her customer service wasn't the greatest and would like to speak with a manager. She went back toward the head cook/manager and openly said "customer thinks we have horrible customer service" and that was it and manager just said ok and never came out to apologize or anything. Keep in mind the kit is open for others to see what is going on and hear. We happily paid our bill and left...I would like to give this place another chance. Food is not the problem (even though it was cold), just our server...

My fam and I have loved this cafe for many years. However this past Friday we were there 11/25, we received terrible service from a specific waiter. We arrived and she took our drink orders, as we were waiting for 2 more, we decided to order drinks for them too. However when ordering, our waitres had a very bad attitude because we wanted to order for them and stated ifwe were confident that’s what they wanted. I’ve always made it a point to say that it’s not what you say, but HOW you say it. Afterwards when we were ready to order our food, she stated “I’m not your server” again… with the same bad attitude. Not sure if she switched waiters because she was upset at the fact that we did catch up to her energy. but regardless, it was very poor service. However, it should be noted that our second waiter who was a blond with 2 side braids gave impeccable service. I’m understanding when someone is working during the holidays and early mornings, but we experienced 2 waiters who gave perfect examples of what NOT to do, and what to do. Our first waiter was more of a red head with a low ponytail. I really hope this just reaches the staff members in order to make them aware of their service in...

Went for breakfast today. Sat down at 11:22, put order in at 11:30 and received our food at 12:30. We waited a hour. There were 2 other tables by us who waited 45 minutes for food. There were tables who received their food way before us and sat down 25 minutes after us. When we asked one person what was going on they stated “We don’t put the tickets in right away if the kitchen is backed up”. We wait until things settle down. Another person told us that a cook walked out. Even if that was the case as a customer it shouldn’t become my problem. The team should pull together and make things happen. There were a good 7 people behind the grill. One person walking walking out couldn’t have caused such a disaster. Then a third person told us a different story. The General Manager was actually there and wasn’t do much of anything. She was behind the counter and let her staff take the heat. She should have been coming out apologizing to people and explaining what was happening. Instead we sat there for a hour waiting for food. It is sad because your food is amazing but your service horrible. The only reason we waited is because we had two small kids with us that were...

Good burger, but kind of boring. - BYOD Burger - $10+: Quarter pound or so. It came well done or so. It was not seasoned much and was a bit dry. I added American cheese ($1.50 extra). The toppings were fresh and mainly crisp, but the lettuce was slightly wilted. The sauces were in good proportions. I’ve had better and for cheaper. - Fries - $1 more with the burger: Medium to thick cut and just the right amount of salt. They were fluffy and good texture overall and filling. Pretty good. - Service: Great. The gentleman who served was prompt about understanding what we wanted, verified it was right, and it came exactly to order. He maybe waited a bit long to ask if we wanted water refilled, but otherwise a great chap. - Atmosphere: Generally quiet and cheerful. They had tables with chairs as well as booths. There were four patio tables with chairs and umbrellas outside. Everything was fairly clean and professional. - Conclusion: Nice place, but the food was a bit dull. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. Visited on a Monday at 1pm.

Another breakfast except this time indoors. Everything from a year ago was still true--both the good food and value and the longer wait to have orders taken. Good place. From Summer, 2017: We went for breakfast and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Only drawback there is frequent truck deliveries which are kind of loud and, of course, you're right in front of parked cars. We really enjoyed the variety of choices. I really appreciated the $5 classic breakfast of eggs, hash browns, and toast. Great value and very delicious. My son, an expert on pancakes, said they met his standards. Coffee is also very good. The only bad part is we waited about 15 minutes to order. This meant someone who came and sat at a table next to us got his breakfast as we were ordering. Our waitress apologized and quite honestly said they'd messed up. I appreciate honesty, and hopefully this isn't a normal occurrence.

The food is pretty good, the service is a bit spotty (might forget how you like your eggs and it might be a long wait for check ins and the food) but you can tell it's with good intentions (might need more staff), I wish the dishes for the skillet style meals were big enough so food wasn't falling off the plate, but it was decent food aside from anything with mushrooms. Don't expect them to be cooked. Second go around we were put at a tiny high top that you had to be careful of because it wobbled so bad. Photos are from the first visit at a booth and big sturdy table. We'll be back but it's not a favorite. Worth trying though if you're in the area, they may have something more suited for you. If I could have I'd have given them like 3.7 stars.
