Found Masa on Yelp while I was on this side of town. I was craving sushi and this was the closest location. When I walked in I was the only patron during the lunch hour, which was a little concerning at first. However, as I sat down and scanned the menu, I realized how many pickup orders they were pumping out! So many! I was greeted and brought water and soy sauce. They have QR on the table so I was able to order on my phone. The app came out first pretty quickly and followed by the roll soon after, but enough time to finish one before the other showed up. I started with the Yellowtail Jalapeno and it was delicious. Fish was fresh, the cucumber and jalapenos were fresh and the jalapeno had a nice heat to them. Definitely enough to split for an app! I also got the Tiger Roll and it was so good! I don't think I have had one like this before! Loved the crunch and the fish on top. Sauce was good, too. I like mine spicier but it was fine for a one pepper designation. My bill came quickly and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The restaurant was clean, lots of tables, and spacious. Read moreThis place continues to become slower with each online or third party orders. As a dasher I feel like they wait until you've arrived to start the customers order. I've waited anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes before and it's just ridiculous. What this restaurant needs to understand is we do not get paid until we actually have the physical order.
Updated: I've been to this location several times and I'm always waiting. So why should I smile and be pleasant when I'm annoyed at the lack of your urgency to fulfill orders? I always announce when I'm there and I always let you know the name of the customer. It's not my fault that you can't handle orders in a timely manner. And I was there while you took another person's order and fulfilled that order in the 15 to 18 minutes that I was waiting. I was there today. So please don't lie to your customers. You are slow! You are in a hotspot so stop waiting until third party gets there to start your orders. First come first...

EDIT: So, business is business. I understand that but I wasn't asking for a bottle. I was asking for a glass. I saw many people have glasses of water but they "only sell bottled". If I was to sit down as a customer and ask for a glass of water while looking over the menu, then decide not to order, would I be charged for that?? I was never disrespectful. I merely was there to pick up an order and asked for a glass of water. Was denied so I drank out of the bathroom. Psst. You don't need permission to drink bathroom water.
