Alot of fun but very expensive!!! They charge 10.00 to park 11.00 - 14.00 to get in but once your in there's alot of stuff to do and look at at you can attend the concerts, demolition derbies monster trucks whatever they might have going on stand-up comedy magic shows you name it so it's not bad now if you're handicapped and you need to rent a wheelchair that's where they get you it's $25 for a wheelchair that you push and $50 for a motorized wheelchair which is crazy expensive. The food is really expensive a hamburger is going to run you between $9 and $15 Fry's even though they're really big are going to run you between $5 to the cheapest up to $11 so make sure you understand that they are very expensive on their food but their food is amazing so it's kind of a toss-up get really good food or just walked by smelling amazing food and not eat any of it. We chose to eat some of the food cuz it was that good. The curly fries were amazing we did get a burger and it was amazing we shared it of course at that price. No fair is complete without having elephant ears which were amazing but those were $8 also but delicious. So I guess what I'm saying is be prepared when going to the fair to spend a little money. it's expensive but it's a lot of fun and it only happens once a year but it's definitely worth it the kids have a blast and so do the parents it's definitely a day full of fun and good food for everyone. Now the Butler Carnival offers unlimited rides for 25.00 on mon- Tue. Wed. Thur. Sun. and 30.00 Friday and Saturday There are a few food stands at the fair that are cheaper on there drinks and things that we noticed the Catholic school had a stand that sold drinks 2.00 cheaper than anyone else. But what people got to remember is the veneers also have to pay to be there. So they have to charge more than normal to make up for the money there paying to be there. So the fair grounds are making alot of profit off the fair carnival pays venders pay we all pay. They make bank. Maybe they can lower the prices so more people can afford to come. I know this was our first time ever due to the cost. Hopefully we can go back again...
Read moreThe fair is going down hill, while the prices are going uphill. Adults (ages 13-64) Monday-Thursday: $14.50. Adults (ages 13-64) Friday-Sunday: $16.00. Youth (ages 6-12): $9.50. For weekend wrist bands $45. One game costs around $10. It's a luxury to go to the fair now. For two jalopeno poppers, $14! Ridiculous! Curly fries in the brick $13.75. Pizza slice & drink $20. Corn dogs $10. Cotton candy $10. Sundola $12 for 2 people. We did manage to find an soft serve ice cream cone for $3 by the animal barns. During the week the fair doesn't open until 2pm! It's odd. Way less vendors than previous years. No animal petting stations. No exotic animals. The deals are during the week, when people are working. So they expect people to take off time from work (lose money) to spend money, to get in, pay for parking and everything else they want to get. It's crazy. It's crazy to me that vendors are not allowed tips. It's odd that vendors cannot set their own pricing and the fair sets it for them. It's ridiculous, especially when it costs them over $1k for a spot at the fair AND they have to share a percentage of their profits with the fair. The new manager of the fair is ruining, what use to be a family tradition. It's a...

We went on Friday morning and we were there just as the gate opened. Lots of vendor stalls were just opening and since we were there only ones really in there, we were attacked by every vendor selling something. Lots of assorted stalls selling house remodeling stuff, wallets, food, resister to win...
We went outside. We went through the different exhibit buildings. The petting zoo, you can buy a cup of grains for a couple bucks to feed the animals.
There's horse stalls most are gentile enough and let you pet them.
We grabbed some lunch, like I said, a bit pricey, but not more than what I was expecting. Look for about $10-15 a person for lunch. We also had to get a funnel cake which was good.
We did not do any rides.
Overall it's a good fair, lots of exhibits, animals, games and vendors. I spent about$100 for my wife and I, but she likes to try a little...
