the fair is super fun. if you are sensitive to heat like me, i recommend going at 8 pm at the earliest during the summer because heat exhaustion isnt pretty. if you like to ride rides over and over again choose a wristband over tickets youll save lots of money. dont expect to ride anything more than two times on the 4th of july though, there will be more people than you can imagine. i do wish they would bring back the ali baba ride more often, especially the one with layered seats, and the pirate ship. the food is delicious, my favorite is the elephant ears and rainbow icecream, some stands also have vegan options. good music, rock/rap/hiphop/pop. if you are getting picked up dont wait by gate 1 especially on the 4th police block it off to prevent crashes. overall, its a good and large fair with all types of rides for kids teens and adults, just be careful of the temperature and know...
Read moreWell I wasn't there for the fair but I was there for a high school graduation venue. What a spectacular night watching my grown child graduate with honors from high school. Everyone milled around the front doors and didn't want to move away from the building to allow for people leaving. Minimum parking attendants to direct traffic from the packed parking lots,( surprised there weren't any fender...
