I am writing this review to thank Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda for working with us to make my Dad's transition back home so successful. Their personal attention to his case and our family has meant so much!

All of the caregivers that have come to serve him have been well trained and have handled our family dynamics very professionally. We want to single out two of the caregivers that are especially professional and always go above and beyond the basic, required duties.

Mary (Maria) is a sweet, no-nonsense professional. She interacts well with the family and pays attention to Ken during her entire shift. She communicates with us when there are issues and describes her preferred methods for handling the bedding reset process and other duties. She just overall, does a Great Job!

Iris is such a sweet, no-nonsense professional. She interacts well with the family and pays attention to Dad during her entire shift. She communicates with us when there are issues. She often goes above and beyond to recommend and bring samples of products and supplies that she thinks would help with Dad’s care. She volunteers to take as many shifts as possible to provide a continuity of service that is so appreciated. She is so attentive to Dad and always knows what he wants, when he wants it, what makes him smile, and when to let him have his way. Her love and respect for each of us...

I cannot recommend Brittany at HC enough! Our family is extremely grateful for the exceptional care she and the rest of the staff have provided. As our mom aged, we were hesitant about outside help, but Brittney quickly became like family. From the moment she walked in the door, her warmth and compassion were evident. She cared for my elderly mother with the utmost respect and kindness, going above and beyond to ensure Mom was comfortable and happy. Her warm personality, genuine compassion, and professional skills made all the difference.

My dad had a stroke and I called Irene and we discussed the needs when my dad returned home. Irene chose the perfect match in Delores! She worked with him the first day back from the rehab hospital and exhibited the perfect balance of concern and encouragement while getting my dad to do his exercises. She talked to him about his interest and helped him connect his glory days as a collegiate boxer to the exercises he needed to do to gain strength. She even asked him to show her a few moves which absolutely delighted my dad and made him feel like a person again. Delores was a true angel to my family since my 80 year old dad was chopping down trees the weekend before his stroke. His disposition and attitude was crucial to this recovery and she helped him set goals and feel a sense of accomplishment. Delores made a very stressful and difficult situation so much easier. After we saw him working with Delores, we could see that everything was going to be okay. Delores treats the person not the illness or injury. She was easy to share a house with for 8 hours which is an important part as well. I highly recommend Delores, Irene and Homewatch CareGivers.
