Wedding Florist Review: I originally went to Lily's Garden in Ann Arbor based on great online reviews. I left my consultation not AT ALL confident that they would able to produce my vision. The lady I met with could not guarantee that she could find the color flower to match my color pallet and suggested I use artificial flowers because I had such a "specific" color peach I was looking for, although she would not use any of the artificial flowers that I purchased. Once I got her highly priced quote, especially considering how the consult went, I decided to go elsewhere. SO GLAD I DID!!! I just met with Norton's Flowers and Tim was AMAZING! He spent 2 hours talking to me. We picked out the exact looks for everything. He had no problem finding the color flower and the prices were significantly cheaper with a much higher quality. BOUNUS: delivery is included. He sealed the deal when he gave me a rose to take home in my "difficult" wedding color. I am SO thankful to God for bringing me to them. I have complete confidence they will delivery that WOW factor...

I was on a video call with my grandmother saturday evening and came into the store to browse the greenhouse for a plant at 4:40pm. As I walk in, a middle aged/older lady looks up at me and says "Can I help you?" in an annoyed tone. I tell her that I am just quickly browsing the greenhouse and I will leave before the store closes at 5pm. As I am looking around, I am still talking to my grandma and start to show her some of the plants. Immediately the lady stomps over and yells "EXCUSE ME MA'AM, CAN I HELP YOU BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE RECORDING." I was so confused and told her that I was on a call with my grandmother. After she looks at my phone and sees my grandma's face, she walks off silently without so much as an apology for her accusation.

I understand (for whatever reason) not wanting the shop being recorded. However there is also a certain way you should go about enforcing these rules and that does NOT involve just rudely and wrongfully accusing customers. About two weeks ago, I was looking for flowers for a close friend. Her dog died recently and I wanted to express my condolences in a way that she would appreciate. At first, I was looking in the glass case at prearranged bouquets, but then an employee introduced herself to me and asked how she could help me. We discussed types of flowers, color, height of the arrangement, and the price point I had in mind. It took ten minutes or fewer for her to create a gorgeous arrangement from scratch for my friend. The white flowers with a purple accent were fresh, went together well, and smelled lovely! When I brought them to my friend, she said it was the prettiest arrangement that she has ever gotten.
