Randall has that artistic eye that will get you the look you really want to achieve. As a hair artist, she will experiment with you without letting you go a stray.

A friend introduced to Randall, a hair artist at Betty Green Salon, by accompanying a friend to his hair appointment with her. Randall and I instantly connected over art and future goals. I booked my appointment that day.

Randall nourished my hair through a cut and color, creating a look that expressed my personality. She also educated me about my hair so I could get more out of my newly curated style on my own.

While Randall was the highlight, the experience occurred at a warm, welcoming salon. Betty Green Salon’s ethos is intriguing. The salon supports its stylists by cultivating living wages for them and uses earth-friendly practices and products in a studio that feels more like a home.

I’m not from the area and was just looking for a salon that could get me in before 10:00 on Saturday for an updo for a friend’s wedding. Samantha KILLED IT. I feel like she really listened to my major concerns: something that wouldn’t fall, something that had a lot of volume, and something that would be out of the way while I helped set up the venue.

My hair looked freaking awesome and I honesty haven’t had a hairdo look the same from the time I got it done to the end of the night (including my own wedding hair) till she did it. It was pricier than I normally would want to spend but she was well worth the money. Not only did she kill the hair, but she was also super fun to talk to and made me feel welcomed to both the salon and city.

This is a great salon. The atmosphere is very inclusive, quiet and laid back. Randall is an amazingly talented stylist who enjoys helping her clients look and feel their best. I can present her with an idea of what I would like and she takes that idea and makes it work in a way that fits me. She is always up front about how a certain style will work based on my facial structure and hair type as well as makes sure I understand the amount of styling and maintenance a certain cut may require (I'm pretty low maintenance and she's great at providing me with something that requires minimal styling and product). I can't say enough good things about Randall...
