Grange Co-op — Attraction in Yuba City

I went there yesterday with the intention to shop small and local. I was looking for a Philodendron and stopped in here. They only had 1 in theyre entire inventory and it was in the discounted section. The plant was already 50% off but it was severely root rotted. Any plant parent knows that root rot is the hardest to bring a plant back from and alot of the times they dont make it. But I thought I’d take the chance anyways, but I still didnt want to spent the $14 dollars on a plant that might not make it. SO, when i went to the counter I asked the manager if she would be willing to further discount it like $2 dollars just because the plant was really far gone. The manager was really short and cold with me and said “no they wont approve that” and walked away. NOW, I called another location. They very much DO do that. That is the main reason I shop plants locally because they offer realistic customer care with plants. This lady was well within her means to help me out, she just didnt want too. I thought this store was going to be great. I have spent several Thousands of dollars in here since they opened. My children wore their costumes and stood on Street Corners advertising for them. My oldest daughter was hired by them prior to the store opening AND WAS PROMOTED 3 TIMES within 6 months or so. She created and put together a HUGE EVENT last Sunday called Farmers Wives Night which brought in close to $60k in 2.5 hours. She has made this company a ton of money all to get terminated the day after this event by two managers that flat out did not like her. I will never shop here again as this is not how Management should act along with other friends who have had horrible treatment time and time again, but still shopped there because of my daughter assuring them that treatment wouldn't...

Unfortunately Grange Co-Op has made a catastrophic decision to let go an Employee that probably Single-handedly has made this company what it is here in Yuba City Ca! You obviously have a lot to learn! We are a small community that stick together and after your Decision to let Lacy Kehoe go will instantly take an effect on your company. And after the service my son received after buying a $1000 safe that was supposed to be a new one not a floor model, we also have made our last purchase with you! And yes we purchased thousands of dollars with your company because of Lacy. Also you have some of the worst management I have ever seen and that is saying something! Personality conflicts should not determine if someone gets fired! Maybe in Oregon that works but it will not be stood for here...
