Sutter County Museum

It was interesting to see some of the exhibits related to the native americans in the area and history of the agricutural develpment. They have an entire section devoted to Lewis and Clark which is confusing because according to the route Sutter County has nothing to do with the expedition.

I believe Yuba City and Sutter County in general needs to promote more advertising of the museum through local businesses. Perhaps even add even more local military history if they work together with the private military museum right outside the front gate at Beale AFB. The American Legion might be able to get involved too.

It may be a small museum but it also has alot of potential for growth. There is alot of history in this area and its a shame the museum doesn't show it. Thats of course at the fault of the museum once again for the lack of advertising but also lack of support from the public. Perhaps more devolopment of their website to promote more to the newer generation.
