Took my truck in to get compustar security system installed. To start truck was suppose to be done at 5 p.m I didn’t end up leaving until 8:30 p.m. When they stated they were wrapping up I asked the representative there if all of the features were working correctly he stated yes. I ask if the proximity unlock was working he stated that system didn’t have that feature I knew it did he had to confirm it on the manufactures website. They spent hours programming it. When I entered the vehicle to leave Emergency brake light was on, ABS light was on, and service brake system message. None of these lights were on when the vehicle was dropped off. Tried to read codes with the Monitor that I have installed on the truck it no longer worked as it previously did when the vehicle was dropped off. Installer had left representative called the installer back to check all of his work to see what happened. It was discovered during that process installer had broken my trailer brake control module as well. I eventually left when I got home I checked to ensure all of the security features were working correctly. None of the security features were working, had to take the truck back to figure out what was going on. Turns out they never turned on the security features on the system itself. When I asked the question the first time if all the features were working correctly I was told yes. The shop never tested my vehicle after the installation to ensure everything was working correctly, they didnt meet the time frame of when the vehicle was suppose to be done, broken trailer brake control module, monitor broken. Excuse from the shop was they have little experience installing the specific system. Why even offer the system if they haven’t had the training or experience installing the system mentioned above. Installer had to watch YouTube videos on how to install the...
Read moreI recently took over an older SUV that needed some much needed TLC. Here in Yuma there isn't really a lot of places that do automotive audio services, so I looked around Yelp! and a few other places, before deciding to go for Charo's Audio Plus for the work that I wanted to get. Let me tell you right away, THIS PLACE GETS BUSY! Why?!? Because they do a great job, have many great products, and KNOW what they are doing. I ended up getting the SUV's stereo replaced, installed an alarm system on the vehicle, and added a back up assist camera and they did an excellent job in the installation, and their prices are very competitive, if not a little bit more reasonable than other places. Plus, they offer a military discount too! The whole staff there is really down to earth too, and best of all they treat you with respect.
They are so good as to what they do that the day that I took my SUV there, Jose, one of Charo's Audio Plus technicians even found a faulty relay that was preventing my running lights to work, and fixed the problem on the spot! And all along, I had suspected that the reason that the running lights were not coming on because I had a faulty sensor that was not allowing the running lights to work. I had even ordered the parts from Amazon to replace the sensor, and now I am going to have to return them as my problem was fixed by these fellas!
If you don't know what you are looking for, but you have an idea, these guys can help you out, and explain things to you in layman's terms in order for you understand the products and services.
I am definitely going back for some window tinting and for some vehicle rims.
Give them a try folks, I am more than sure that you will not regret your visit to them. Just remember that they do get CRAZY BUSY, so allow some time for your vehicle to...
Read moreI got speakers installed throughout my vehicle. They did a great job at that. They were professionals from the moment I walked through the door. They showed me several of their demonstration displays and gave me a great deal on the speakers I purchased. Installation time was reasonable.
My only complaints are how dirty the interior of my vehicle was upon completion. The inside of my windshield had sweaty hand prints, and there was left over debris from their work. Last complaint is seeing tools on my leather seats. I walked outside to see them installing my speakers and they were sitting tools directly on my leather seats. I would have liked to see them place a cover over the seats and mats on the floor before they started their work. They didn't damage anything but the chances of it happening are more likely.
They are very knowledgeable and their finished product is great. I don't have any problems with my sound system. If you want a nice product in Yuma I recommend going. I'm going again to get more stuff done. I'll just make sure I cover my seats and ask them to clean up after themselves a little better.
Don't take this as a bad review. I hope they read this and utilize it as room for improvement in some areas. 3 stars that could easily be a 4, and...
