Visiting Yuma Children's Museum was an absolutely delightful experience that our family won't soon forget. From the moment we walked through the doors, the vibrancy and energy of the place welcomed us, promising a day full of exploration and learning.
A standout feature of the museum is undoubtedly its dedicated and passionate staff. Each employee we interacted with was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely enthusiastic about engaging with the children. Their warmth and attentiveness made all the difference, ensuring that every young visitor felt valued, curious, and inspired.
The use of space within the museum is truly ingenious. In an era where many museums struggle to utilize their space effectively, Yuma Children's Museum has artfully transformed every nook and cranny into interactive learning hubs. The exhibits are carefully curated to maximize engagement and ensure that children of all ages can delve deep into the world of imagination and discovery. The way each section flows seamlessly into the next showcases a meticulous and creative design that respects both the physical space and the child's...
Read moreLet me just start by saying I have been to better discovery museums. I have been to bigger, more beautiful exhibits. However, none of those bigger, better museums had the personable, kind, immediately present and helpful staff. I was incredibly impressed. They were utterly lovely. And my wild herd of hellions didn’t even seem to phase them! 😂 They took my 10 month old crawling all over the place in stride. They didn’t blink twice at my two year old’s battle cries as she chucked everything under the sun across the museum. When my 8 year old got something stuck they quickly, calmly helped unstuck it. We spent 2 hours there and my kids were disappointed to go. Parking nearby was a little tight even in the middle of the week because it’s in downtown so if you have more than one kiddo a stroller isn’t a bad idea. Overall a delightful experience. Definitely not crowded in the middle of the week. Very impressed. Oh! And the toddler/baby area was so thoughtfully arranged. We loved it. And I felt it was nicely and reasonably priced. 4/4 kids would recommend with 5...
Read moreWe had a great time at Children’s Museum. We spent hours and at every corner, there was something new for him to discover. He loved every moment and didn't want to leave. They offer free parking in the lot in the back, also plenty of street parking . This museum is incredibly kid friendly. There's food inside, but outside food is permitted. It's great for setting up playdates. Highly recommend. They offer discounts to military and EBT card holders. Be sure to take advantage if you do qualify. It's tough keeping kids indoors all day especially during the hot summer. I didn't make a reservation and I paid on-site. I came in during the weekday and we didn't experience difficulties. However,I can see it being popular with heavier foot traffic on the weekend so plan ahead. Regular admission for adults and children ages 1 one years old and up is $8per child / per adult. I...
