Large Beer and Food Menu. Great Outdoor Patio We just finished having a brew across the street and thought we'd check this place out. The patio is large and inviting, but it was a little too cool for us so went inside. Many tables and a long bar and it was pretty full at 9:00 pm. We sat in a comfortable corner at a huge table where the walls were covered with plastic foliage with brass animal heads spying on us. Very unique and fun. The Tap List is extensive with many choices in the different beer varieties. I tried the Boulder Brewing Chocolate Shake Porter and the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter. Both excellent beers and I'd recommend them highly to porter lovers. I also had a Four Peaks Joy Bus WOW wheat beer which I think has a better flavor compared to Blue Moon. All of my beers were $7.50 for a 16 ounce pour. No charge tasters are available for sampling. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her iced tea. We first tried the Calamari appetizer. Out came a fairly large serving of calamari strips, deep fried, topped with sweet red peppers, jalapenos, onions and a spicy aioli sauce. Boy did this look good, but that's all that was good with this dish. The calamari had absolutely no flavor. In fact, and I tried this, if you close your eyes and eat this, you would not be able to tell what you're eating. No rubberiness, no squeak, just a tender strip of something deep fried. I would not get this again. We also tried the Bacon Wrapper Jalapenos. You get five jalapenos stuffed with cheddar and pepper jack cheese, wrapped with a strip of bacon and roasted, served with a dipping sauce. We really enjoyed these. A very nice place to relax and enjoy some brew and food. I...

The bar staff was great: attentive, fast, and considerate. The problem I had was with the food.
I ordered the steak tips medium rare and they arrived on plate pretty quick. The first thing I noticed was that there was not a single char, the meat had a gray appearance, and the whole plate was covered in a potent dry spice mix. The mashed potatoes were cold - not room temp, but cold as if they came out of the fridge, were plopped right onto the plate, and tasted odd (I couldn't tell what I was tasting: the inside of a freezer? I only had a small bite). I cut one of the tips and it was 'blue', definitely not medium rare. Whatever spicing was sprinkled on it had an acidic taste. Trying to give it more of a chance, I asked the server if they could have the potatoes warmed.
After another couple pieces of steak, the mashed potatoes came back, but there was something off about the meat; it simply was unappetizing in appearance and taste. It had a faint taste of (no joke) what a garbage can smells like. After a single spoon full of the warmed potatoes I decided I had to say something: the potatoes tasted like a mixture of cleaning supplies, dust, and soured milk.
The bartender comped the 3/4th uneaten meal, which I appreciated. It truly was one of the worst meals (foodwise)...
Read moreSo before going here, my friends and I read reviews and saw 3.5 stars, we decided to give it a try and see if we agree with that.
Well..... its unfortunate to say, we agree if not lower. The service was good, waitress was on par. Atmosphere was good, plenty of seating, music wasn't loud, both indoor and outdoor seating.
The food.... so fried pickle were the bomb! A+ on those. They were thick, juicy, crunchy golden fried. Definitely worth it.
Our table had 2 burgers and 1 Thai taco, well needless to say... flavor was not there. First bite of tacos and disappointment set in. My burger... flavor of the beef was not lacking "natural flavor" but definitely could have used a lil love from some seasoning. Yes granted is was a sirloin burger cooked medium (came out more rare) but with zero char and no seasoning... my heart was broken. Fries I'm 50/50 on. Could have used a lil more pop in seasoning but thata was ranch or ketchup is for I guess.
The final burger in our group was about the same as mine.
Now is this place a fail, absolutely not. Little improvements would make a huge difference.
After food we did the 6 glass beer board, got several flavors I wasn't sure about but shockingly like them, including one that was 8.3%bv didn't pack a pucker punch like...
