Holy Smokes — Restaurant in Yuma

A message to the owners and possible future customers: Horrible customer service, organization, and food. Will not be returning.

Came to this restaurant for pulled pork, but all we were served was beef (NOT tri-tip) and a side of attitude from the night person in charge.

I came to this establishment with my partner to support a local business. We ordered online, but unfortunately our online order was not even been submitted to the kitchen until our arrival, which we were okay with. We were happy in a great mood enjoying the atmosphere. It all seemed pleasant at first, but nearly an hour after our order was still not ready, we approach the women who seemed to be in charge. Her shirt was plain compared to the rest so we spoke with her about our experience and our wait time. My partner mentioned he was concerned about our order because of the wait. THIS WOMEN YELLED AT US, AND WAS SOOO RUDE. Eventually after having a nearly full blown loud argument with this women who was clearly angry at life, she quickly prepared our order and bagged it up to go. We decide to check our order before leaving and the women STOPS waiting tables to yell at us again for opening the bag. She said angrily " oh so you're staying!? I could have plated that for you." We said "no were just checking out order" they forgot our sauce that was on our order. She passes back by and we say" excuses me" she claps her hands together and yells again "What else can I get for you". We just told her it was the missing sauce. Again she wanted to argue about what sauces we wanted, when they were already on there order. We didn't get what we paid for. The food was nasty and cold. When I came home to actually eat it there was no pulled pork on my order at all. I guess we should have just done the refund after the first hour of waiting. Who ever is training these individuals for their business needs to seriously reconsider!! Holy smokes more like...

I crave the Pulled Pork Keto Platter from Holy Smokes, all the time! They have the best smoked pulled pork. No gristle and no fatty weird tissue. And today when we went in I got my usual- pulled Pork Keto Platter served on a cabage bed with cheese and some sauce on the side. (I dont use the sauce). I was sooo excited to get real Avocado, too. I know that seems silly, but normally they only serve it with Avocado-Crema. (I am not a fan). I was so delighted about my avocado, I am still savoring it as I type. Now, it is likely the carb count is higher on my "Keto style" platter then your typical LOW carb, and I know it is WORTH IT!! I haven't even talked about the amazing "Spark-Plug." It is a fantastic little gem! A jalapeño stuffed with smoked pulled pork and Cream cheese and wrapped in Bacon. 😲 OMG Delicious! 😋 I am almost always on the go selling a house or 2 so I usually get this to go and it is so good even on the run and not eating it fresh and hot. From my POV that makes it that much better!! If you do have time to chill and eat, the restaurant is adorable and even has swing tables and tables in a truck bed. Super fun! *Side note, the reason they are serving real Avocado is for Cinco de Mayo this week, they are serving a delicious shrimp salad with Avocado. I will post a picture of that...

Was here twice. The first time, the food was good, with decent portion size. The second, most recent trip was utterly disappointing. Compared to my first trip, the meal aas about 30% smaller (same meal both times). I ordered the keto with brisket, which despite how much fat was present, was dry. They served the meal without the Chipotle sauce (key for the amount of veggies in the keto meal) so I brought it to their attention. They came back to say "I guess that's our way of saying we're out." and suggested I just use a BBQ sauce from the table. Had I known they were out - I'd have ordered a different menu item. The bill for one beer and my meal & tip (you pay at time of ordering) was $24. But the portion size, lousy customer service, and quality of food it wasn't worth half that. One of my coworkers found the ribs to be ok, but he ended up not eating his brisket due to it being too fatty and dry,, and the green beans were notably undercooked. When the server picked up his plate, my coworker voiced his displeasure with the food but barely got a grunt of a reply. Terrible customer service.
