Ivy Marie Prom and Bridal Boutique — Attraction in Zanesville

Purchased my daughter’s Homecoming dress. The shopping experience was fine. All sale members were experienced and knowledgeable and were very helpful in trying to find my daughter the dress she was looking for although I felt hovered over at times. Her dress was gorgeous but I felt a little over priced. It needed hemmed and we were told it would be finished and ready for pick up in a week and that someone would get in touch when it was ready. The day of pickup we called to see if it was ready bc we were not contacted as we were told we would be. I feel reaching out if it is or even isn’t would have been nice since her dance was in 5 days. We were told dress was not ready and would be ready the next day at 1pm. We drove to the store to pick it up. The dress was not ready and wasn’t even at the store. We said we were not leaving the store until we had the dress. We waited in the store for 4 hours before the dress arrived. The gentleman that delivered the dress did not even apologize for the delay and miscommunication but proceeded to let us know that he was having a bad day. He handed the dress to a sales rep and disappeared behind a curtain into another room. I appreciate the dress getting hemmed but it’s probably best to not make promises you are unsure you can keep and open communication with your is important when you are running a business and so is admitting when you are wrong and have made a mistake.
