The experience me and the fam had here was sublime! We were greeted by a very knowledgeable member of the museum who was an exceptional host. She checked in on us often, told us rich stories of Zeeland's history, gave us some Windmill cookies, and when she couldn't answer our questions she called someone who did and came back with the answer. The museum itself is housed in an 1876 home, called the Dekker Huis, once belonging to a prominent Zeeland businessman. Each room in the house is dedicated to a different part of Zeeland's history, from it's pioneer days to war time. All of us were quite surprised to find out how big the museum actually was.
