Tuy nhiên các bố mẹ nên để ý con một chút vì không gian không quá rộng, trưng bày nhiều hiện vật, mà các bé thì chạy nhảy, hiếu động nhiều quá có thể ảnh hưởng tới các hiện vật. Bảo tàng nằm trong khuôn viên của trường ĐH KHTN. ngày bình thường có thể vào bằng cả 3 cổng nhưng cuối tuần thì mọi người nên vào bằng cổng mà ở gần phía đầu đường Hoàng Quốc Việt nhất. Về không gian, tuy hơi bé và nhoằng chút là đi hết nhưng được sắp xếp rõ ràng, dễ theo dõi. Giá vé: hoàn toàn miễn phí. Có các dịch vụ đi kèm như làm huy hiệu, mặt nạ động vật đều 25k hoặc làm mô hình thạch cao các động vật như khủng long, ốc, sao biển,... 50k. Nếu làm thạch cao, các bạn có thể làm trước khi thăm bảo tàng vì phải chờ tầm 15 phút để thạch cao khô hoàn toàn.
