The room was in ok condition, I suppose. The toilet door hinge seems to have a problem when opening and closing, there was a dent in the wall and it seems that heated water is not available when showering.
The bed was extremely hard and firm and uncomfortable. I had a very bad sleep until I found some additional sheets in the cabinet and cushioned parts of my bed.
The receptionist does not speak English and there was some issue when booking the room through an app. Had to wait a few minutes and it was tense not knowing if I would have a room to stay in when coming late at night. I eventually was given a room however, and the matter was sorted out.

Read moreWe booked this on Airbnb for four guests only for 2 nights, when we turned up they then said that there was only one room booked that could only accommodate two people, we were then asked to pay for a whole additional room when they even admitted themselves that it was their mistake. On top of this the owner is very rude, shouting and screaming at us and did not want to help us at all. I’d save yourself the hassle and book one of the many other places available in Hanoi, if a half star was available it...
